Some of the other reviews are incorrect
One review stated that the unit only does metric, but that's not true. You can change it to foot pounds or other units.Another review complained of having to press the buttons 100,000 times to set the desired torque. If you hold the + or - keys, they will increment/decrement at a faster rate. If you keep holding, it will beep and then a moment later, will start to scroll super fast. If you let go at the beep and then press and hold again, it will scroll at the original faster rate (not super fast), but eventually will beep and go super fast again. This is useful if you start far from the desired torque and then get close, where you don't want to overshoot. The display wraps around zero in either direction, so no need to go from 2 to 200Nm via + in 198 steps when you can go via - in one step.Another review pointed out an inconsistency between the product description and specifications. In fact, there is a mismatch between the specifications in the manual and the certificate of calibration. The manual says it is capable of a minimum display of 40Nm. The certificate says it's capable of the range 2 to 200Nm. Regardless, the unit can actually measure as low as 2Nm (I tested in foot pounds, which displayed 1.5 ft lb). The only thing to consider is that it won't beep at 80% of 2Nm as a warning - it will simply turn red and sound the alarm when 2Nm is reached. But, if you set it to 2.5Nm, it will start warning at 2Nm, which is 80% of 2.5Nm.Other than that, it seems to work. I used it in conjunction with three different click-type torque wrenches and all were within 1ft lb of this units readings. I assume this unit is the most accurate.
