After extended use, the inner sock starts to wear down, and the Velcro can lose some grip, but that’s expected with frequent use. After 2 years of being in a brace from a reinury. I graduated from a thumb spica brace but still needed some type of DeQuervains support at the base of my thumb along with keeping my wrist supported from an ECU tear and this brace gives that support. I've literally had it on for about 4 hours and it feels as if I'm wearing nothing. I didn't need the support on top so I cut that one out but the brace under is very comfortable which is rare to say as well I normally have to take that one out. I did add my famous sock turned into a comfy sleeve just for extra comfort but overall its amazing so far. The only suggestion I would make it to allow the support braces to be removable and add a little bit more cushion on the inside for extra comfort.
