Really great tool. Thought I was going to need a new phone. Still might, but this made all the difference. A bit pricey, but it works.

This is an amazing tool for fixing and cleaning a lighting port in an iphone, my iphone wouldn't work unless I bent the cable and put pressure on it, I tried using a floss pick and other things people talked on youtube and made things worse, with this tool it quickly removed whatever was messing up the port and made the cable plug in in a secure good fashion

I recently purchased the Pureport to clean the lighting port on my iPhone. It seems to work pretty well as prior to cleaning the lighting cable wouldn’t sit squarely in my port due to lint and debris buildup from being in my pocket all day. Tool 1, the port pick is amazing and fits perfectly into the port and retainer spring cavity. I found a large piece of lint stuck in each side and the pick helped remove them with ease. As long as you’re careful you shouldn’t have any issues cleaning your port without damaging the connector pins. Tool 2 was the small port brush and I used it to remove lots of tiny fuzz and debris. Lastly I used Tool 3 the port wipe to clean the connector pins. I put some of the cleaning solution on it as directed in the manual and it removed tiny blacks bits from the pins. I immediately tested the connection again and the lightning cable locks in perfectly like new. I also used Tool 6 the speaker and switch brush to brush out some debris from my speakers, earpiece, and switches. That seemed to work pretty well too. I couldn’t be happier with how this tool works regarding functionality. I wish it came with a spare Tool 2/port brush as I see that getting kind of nasty and worn down after a few cleanings. Also, there wasn’t much cleaning solution in the bottle. I don’t see any signs of leakage, but it was only about 1/4 full. Not sure why it’s not a full bottle unless they’re trying to bait you into buying more at some extreme markup. Hopefully that isn’t the case and I’ll contact them and let them know it was mostly empty and request some more. I haven’t yet used Tool 4 or 5 which are for cleaning your charging cable connector. Mine are mostly in great shape with no visible black corrosion. I’ve seen pictures online of other people’s and mine never ever look like that. All in all, great tool. Glad I bought it and I would recommend others to purchase too. I gave it 4 out of 5 since they kind of dropped the ball on the ball on the near empty cleaning solution and didn’t provide a spare brush since that is the one tool likely of easily wearing out. They should consider providing one since this is a $25-30 cleaning tool amd if that wears out then the entire tool is somewhat useless. I bought the version for the lighting cable and it’s pretty good quality. I will likely purchase one for cleaning the USB-C on my other devices and I’m certain it will be the same level of quality this appears to be.

I was skeptical and prepared to get burned spending money on a too-expensive gimmick. But my lightning port was a mess and I hated endlessly fiddling with my phone just to get a charge each day. So I went for it. And the tool works just great! After 10 minutes of cleaning the port works great, again with that feeling of the cable clicking into place and staying there. I used to just clean it gently with a toothpick but clearly there's no comparison. This little took really does the job.

Buy the PurePort if you’re even reading this and the other reviews! My 17 year old son’s iPhone 11 charging port wasn’t working anymore. We bought a wireless charger and a portable wireless charger, spending over $70 between the two. Since the wireless charges weren’t charging fast enough for his usage, I bought the PurePort after reading the reviews. Wow! I wasn’t sure it would work but sure enough, it did! A lot of lint and grease came out of the charging port (he’s an auto technician). After less than five minutes of using the PurePort, he was able to charge with a cord again! And the first cord we tried only worked at a certain angle. This tool cleans the oxidation from charging cables too! Now that also works great. No more wasting money when the cord no longer works due to oxidation. Saved a lot of money and hassles with the PurePort!

I believe this item is not worth the price. I watched videos about it, but it didn’t help at all. Well I give 3 star because maybe it’s my fault

I highly recommend this product. I had years of lint and dirt built up in my iPhone 12; I could only charge it using a wireless pad. The directions of use are clear and direct. I had to do a few rounds of the process (again, years of lint and dirt), but now the charging port is working like new! This product certainly saved me from purchasing a new iPhone.

Wir haben verschiedene Reinigungssets für die Reinigung der iPhone-Buchse ausprobiert die nichts brachten. Das Problem: das iPhone zeigt an das geladen wird, as lädt aber eben nicht wirklich mit Kabel. Am Kabel lag es nicht, und es gab auch kein großen, sichtbaren Schmutz in der Buchse. Ausblasen hatte auch nicht geholfen. Dieses Reinigungsset aber funktionierte tatsächlich. Ich habe einfach alle Tools zur Reinigung nacheinander benutzt. Es ist auch klein und gut zu verstauen.

Complete kit, cleans iPhone connection and associated cable ends that connect to it. It is great that they included a non-conductive (I hope) cleaning solution with it. I marked it down to 3 / 5 due the price - I expect it costs no more than $5-10 to make so $15 would give a seller a great margin. $45 is way too pricey - but PurePort are the only seller for this item on Amazon that I could find, so without competition this supplier chose to gouge. I will rate PurePort accordingly. I do like this item enough not to bother with the return, but I would not recommend it only due to the severe over-pricing.
