The media could not be loaded. These are awesome. It was super hard for me to find actually WARM light LED under the cabinet lights that you don’t have to charge or battery operated. I just wanted old school plug in’s. We plugged in through microwave cabinet, drilled a few holes through two cabinets and fed the cord down to easily install with no wires showing. Used the 3M sticky pads to install lights and voila. I only used 2 out of 3 lights here. Love the motion sensor for easy on/off. If you want a stark white light, these are not for you. This is 2700k color temp, which I prefer.

I have written a couple of product reviews in the past but I have to say this is one I am very happy to write. I had been looking for some under counter lights for years. I was very fussy about what I wanted, how they would look and a clean installation. I found it all and then some with the Black & Decker lights. I purchased two each of the 3 light sets and one of the five light sets.First, I wanted a very low profile so that the lights could not be seen even from low angles. CHECK! I wanted a warm color to the light so they would not look like LEDs, CHECK! I wanted a factory look to the installation because I didn't want wires to be seen, CHECK!The lights themselves are very well made with a strong, rigid aluminum housing. You get mounting clips that can be mounted with the adhesive tape on them or screw mounted. There are clips that allow you to dress the cables for professional looking wire routing and a assortment of cables to accommodate many options for placement. I was surprise at the mounting kit because it didn't just come with what I needed, it came with much more than I needed.There is a motion detector on/off switch that requires your hand to be within about 2" of it to trigger. This keeps it from accidentally turning on or off while working on the counter tops or any time you don't want it to. In the 5 light pack it came with 2 of the light bars with a push botton switch that allows you to toggle the light and control the brightness. That means you can operate the light from wherever you place the switched bars. Nice if you have a long counter top and would like to be able to turn them on from either end of the counter. I had 3 sections I wanted to put lights on. I was able to plug the power supply in to the refrigerator outlet for the coffee bar section (see picture). The second section I plugged the power supply into the outlet for the microwave (see picture) which is in the cabinet. The third area I had to wire an outlet in the cabinet but I was lucky because there was an outlet on the counter directly below so it was an easy run.All I can say is that B & D made a quality product, didn't skimp on the hardware or cables, has great flexibility for brightness and control and at a very reasonable price. I am extremely happy with these light and the classy affect and useful light they provide in my kitchen.

After buying two incorrect sizes, I settled on the 9 inch three pack. For a small kitchen the 18 and 24 inch lights lit the counters up like stadium lighting even on the lowest setting. These 9 inch were perfect! Fairly easy to install, the difficult part is trying to see under the cabinet for light , and getting the wire straightened out as it’s folded in the packaging and quite kinked. I did not screw brackets into the cabinets nor did I drill holes. I only used the included clips that have adhesive on the black. I did run into a snag running across the back of the microwave along the wall. I ended up using a hot glue gun, placing glue on the back of the clips and attached the clips along the underneath side of the microwave against the wall. That seemed to work just fine, cord is neatly tucked and not visible, so far so good nothing has come detached. I highly recommend this product, color of light is perfect. No need for adjustment fairly easy to put the kit together, most difficult part was to straighten out the wire and get it attached to the underneath side of the cabinets. I would definitely buy again

I've tested and tried a few other options for under-cabinet lights and this one is fantastic: the color and the dimming capabilities are superb, deserving a 5 star rating. Black and Decker advertises this product as "simple tool free installation", which is absolutely true. The flip-side of this is that there are bulky and very visible components. For that reason I reduced my rating to 4 stars. I will extend the wire to an outlet above my cabinets to hide the bulky power supply (I'm replacing my cabinets so I can hide the wiring). Speaking of wiring: the package mentions a 72" wire which would be perfect for my application, then states that it is not included but that a 108" wire can be purchased.... To be continued.Update 05-Sep-17: I purchased a 1-light, 3-light and 5-light package since that met the needs for my kitchen. The 5-light package is the only one that includes the infamous 72" wire. I needed to run three LED wires across the height of my cabinets (42") to reach the outlet on top of the cabinets. I used the one 72" and had to connect two of the shorter wires to create the required length. That resulted in shortage of connecting wires and connectors, but after spending an additional $35 that problem was solved. They really should throw in some more connectors...The motion detectors ended up on top of the cabinets because of the way I wired the lights and drove me absolutely crazy for turning off and on at random. Fortunately I read the reviews and a piece of strategically placed duct tape solved that problem.Bottom line: Eventually I will forget the installation challenges and the end product is really great!Update Aug '20: the 1-light started to flicker, which was caused by the power supply. I contacted Black+Decker directly and they sent me a complete new package. Great service especially since it was 3 years since I purchased the set.
