Very pleased with these lights. Most people take them for security cameras and the blinking red diode, that comes on in the dark, provides an extra deterrent. They were relatively easy to install, requiring just a power drill with two masonry bits, a small one to make the guide hole and a larger one to take the rawplug provided. Once mounted, they were easy to adjust to get the right coverage and have not needed readjustment.. The solar panels keeps them topped up nicely and PIR detector has a good range with very few false alarms.

This is great little light. Looks very much like a security camera. But it's just a pir light. Looks very convincing though as a deterant.The mount is really near and you place the camera on any surface and still pretty much point it where you want. The solar panel can also be adjusted to make sure it catches the best light.The sensor range is quite long and wide, it picks up my dog as soon as she's out the back door which is a good 4 metres and a little way behind the light - probably 10 degrees.The light is quite bright and quite clean if you know what I mean, a bit like a modern head light in a car (although not as bright) the spread of light is good.It doesn't seem to need much light to charge up well, even after fairly dull days it never fails to light up full brightness. Handy to have in a remote location as no external power is needed.

Easy to install and sensor detection works well. However, even at brightest (first 20 seconds or so) it only dimmly lit a restricted area (following initial period it reduced down to barely there). Light has started to die over last week and now completely inoperable (not an issue with solar availability - other solar light (different make and in place for couple of years) is working without issue). Looking at video reviews of this light the reviewers seem happy with the brightness - possibly i had a faulty item from the outset and whatever limited solar feed or battery capacity it had at first install has now withered to nothing. To late to issue claim through Amazon so seems only option is trash it.** Following the initial posting above I was contacted very quickly by Xibolar customer service who remedied the situation by dispatching a replacement light. This is now installed and working correctly (brightness of light much improved over original unit). Very impressed with the responsiveness of Xibolar - would recommend this product/company based on the proactive nature of their customer care department.

What an amazing light - the LED’s are super bright when they first come on and stay like that for about 30secs then they dim to a lower light for another 30 secs but as soon as you move in front of the sensor they go back to mega bright, there is a solar panel that sits on top of the light and can be moved into any position to catch the suns rays, even on a dull day it catches enough sunlight to power the light as much as I needed it. The light is shaped like a camera which is a really good deterrent and also has a small flashing red light on it to make it look like it’s recording, even driving up the street to my house you can see the red light flashing to which you automatically tho JN it’s a camera. I have been amazed at this little light and its camera styling and would definitely buy it again for other areas around my house and garden

It worked well and I can see the camera look aspect but the wet summer has filled it up and it’s dead. Shame as the solar panel adjustment was excellent.

I got this security light for the side entrance to my garden where I had no mains power. The light is very easy to install and I have placed it on a 6’ fence panel. I wasn’t sure if the light would get enough solar power but it seems to charge very efficiently and lasts well.The light has flashing red LED’s which are bright and act as a deterent even before the main light comes on. The light activates once it senses someone moving and gives a good light. It’s not like a floodlight but it lights up the immediate area and is useful when I am taking out my wastebins.Very happy with my purchase.

I wasn't hoping for much when I bought this. My faith in solar power wasn't great. I was pleasantly surprised and now that we have moved into the short winter days with not a lot of sunlight I am even more impressed. I fitted this light on a 6' fence panel half way down the garden. It reacts quickly with adequate light to walk down the garden. The light is bright but doesn't throw a strong light very far but I'm not reading the paper down there at night, just need to see where I'm going. The light drops down to half strength after 20 seconds and remains there for 1min. That's sufficient. It's a great advantage to be able to situate it where you like as mains power is not required and no wiring to the attached solar panel which can be manoeuvred to face the strongest daylight. In addition, it also acts as a deterrent in daylight because it looks just like a security camera.Overall, I'm well pleased and would recommend it.

Sadly the solar panel/ and camera are now upside down as the connection is weak it won't stay up
