Excellent, excellent, excellent book!! I originally bought it for my daughter-in-law who is beginning to dabble with yarn and hooks. Before I gave it to her, I had a look through and found myself amazed that I, an experienced crocheter, was also learning things! The book is exceptionally well-written, has awesome pictures and color photos, and has 10 amazing beginner patterns to practice what you’ve learned! End result? I bought a second copy of the book for myself! 😃

I recently became crocheting, and I thought it would be nice to have a handy reference book in case I forgot what some stitches were called. Unfortunately, I just didn’t find it to be as useful for me as I was hoping. Firstly I appreciate appreciate all the diagrams but I think I actually probably would’ve been better served by pictures rather than drawings of some of these stitches. And then secondly the patterns are extremely detailed in a way that’s almost confusing. I started crocheting using Woobles and these instructions are so much more complicated than those. Same with when I did a large picnic blanket from Sirdar. For me personally, I would give this three stars, but I will allow that other people learn in different ways.

Amazing view of Crochet

Great book for beginners. Easy to understand instructions someone without any experience. Explains all needle sizes, when to use what texture of yard. What I found most helpful was meaning of abbreviations used in instructions.

Definitely a good guide for beginners and their patterns look very manageable. I like how they have pictures along the way as well

Package was open upon arrival, luckily it didn’t seem to be anything of value for the delivery driver and it wasn’t stolen. The book luckily wasn’t sitting outside long and is in good condition, haven’t make anything with it yet but the instructions look simple to follow. Happy crocheting!

This book is perfect!!!!! I’m going to use crochet as a stress reliever and this book is so easy to follow; I know I will pick it up fast!!!
