Beautiful alternative to disposal plasticware. Bought these for a Thanksgiving gathering and was a bit concerned that the plates, bowls would not be sturdy enough for the weight of the food: turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and all the various sides. I was also concerned the plates might ' leach' into all the soupy ( gravy) and acidic ( cranberry sauce) foods.- changing the taste and becoming less sturdy over time. NOT TO WORRY !! These plates and bowls worked marvelously ! And they all of the natural variations in each plate and the colors were perfect for autumn / thanksgiving feast ! Everyone loved them. We will attempt to compost the more heavily soiled, used plates - and hopefully they will degrade. I was able to actually hand wash some of the less soiled/ used ones in hot , soapy water and air dry to use in the future. That's how durable these are ! I would highly recommend this product. A bit pricy, but worth it !

Received many compliments at our Halloween get together. Perfect for holding hot chili without any leakage and VERY sturdy. Being made from palm leaves they have a beautiful grain, similar to wood, and each has it’s own pattern. Will definitely buy again.

Made of bamboo these bowls are much sturdier than any paper disposable that I have ever used and the best part is they can be disposed of in our green waste carts. Even put in regular trash they will disintegrate into organic waste in a landfill. Can be put in a back yard compost pile.

Took these camping. Perfect size for cereal. Did not leak. I did wash and air dried them. Reused 4 to 5 times. Will buy them again.

These were ok for my purpose, although I would have preferred them to be just a little larger, especially for large salad eaters. Also some of the bowls were a little misshapen and/or not as nice looking as I would have liked, but I went through the stack before putting them out for our guests and used the ugly or misshapen ones for other purposes. I would buy them again, but would continue to look for alternatives along these same lines. They did coordinate very nicely with the bamboo plates I purchased here on Amazon.

I bought these as I made to make a large crudités board for 20 people. I had dips, olives, etc that I needed in some container and have it holdUp for 6-8 hours. These bowls never got soft and held up the whole evening. I also loved the size so I could refill all the dips as needed and. It not need to replaced during the event.

Much smaller than I thought. This is more like a small/shallow desert bowl. Will not hold much liquid.
