The quality was great.

This particular hinge comes in different configurations, and It's important for the end user to know the limitations. A 90-180° , does not lock at 180°, rather it resets or springs back to 90°. There is also a 90- 190° for example that would allow that feature. The increments for adjustment are about 10° from the best I can determine, i.e. there are eight clicks before it resets. Again, understand the minimum tilt would be 10°. I have asked several manufacturers about the load limitations, but have yet to receive feedback about this. I did see one similar style hinge that had a rating of 40 lb, but that's not to say that is the limitation or specification for this hinge. If the manufacturer reads this review, please list the load limitation, as this is important information to know.

Ratchet mechanism that is quite tight and the action on the spring load closure was aggressive. Because of this, it did not work for my application and I had to return.

Well made and feel sturdy in hand. I ended up having to return as they were not suitable for my intended purpose, slight overkill for my project lol.
