Incredible Value and Plenty of Power!
This Dremel is an amazing value given all the accessories it comes with! The kit includes multiple cutting wheels, a high-capacity battery, a charger, and a storage case, making it a fantastic all-in-one package for any DIYer or professional. Even though it's battery-powered, it delivers plenty of juice for any task. I was initially worried about power compared to a corded version, but this tool exceeded my expectations. The brushless motor makes a huge difference, providing smooth, consistent performance even when cutting through metal or grinding down tough materials. The variable speed control is also a great feature, allowing for precision and versatility across different projects. Plus, the EZ Twist Nose Cap makes accessory changes super quick and hassle-free. Overall, this is a top-notch rotary tool with the convenience of cordless power and no compromise on performance. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality Dremel!

Good upgrade from an older model
I used the same Craftsman rotary tool for 30+ years and went through several sets of brushes to keep it going. It was a good tool but I wanted an upgrade to latest technology. This new cordless, brushless Dremel is sweet. Immediate stop with off switch (the old tool had to spin down to a stop), the nose cap has an integrated wrench for the collet (no need for that little wrench to change bits), it maintains its speed even with heavy pressure (the old tool would slow down and stall under pressure). And of course the obvious, no cord and no more replacing brushes is a plus. It's bigger and heavier then the corded one, but that is what a battery does to it, its a trade-off. But, I was able to use it for some cutting and sanding without too much fatigue in the fingers, and didn't bother my wrist at all. So will this new one last 30+ years? All I did to the old one is replace brushes three times at $3 each set. Will this battery last 30 years? Will a new battery cost more than $3? Will they still make this model battery? The old one was just a motor and a simple variable speed control circuit. The new one has and electronic speed controller to generate the rotating magnetic field for brushless operation. How is that electronic speed controller going to hold up over time, or will I need to change out a circuit board in the future? But the model 8250 has a limited lifetime warranty so that's good. I'm probably comparing apples to oranges, but it is interesting to think about. Definitely a good upgrade.

Dremel Quality-
Just what I wanted. I have the cordless tool mounted in a table vise with tool holder option and a flex shaft attached. It works perfect for carving a wood duck at my workstation. Great power, long lasting battery, and Dremel quality. What more does one need!

Definitely worth the price.
Very nice tool to have for anyone that does maintenance work in housing. Battery life is great, and adjustable speed is very nice. Good tool to have in the bag, at a reasonable price. Add a $15 bit kit from Harbor Freight, and this tool becomes incredibly handy.

This is an amazing tool
This is an amazing tool. The last Dremel tool I bought has a cord and the motor has brushes. I still have it, but this one with the brushless motor works so much better and is more powerful. It runs so smooth and is easy to use being cordless. I'll keep my old one but I am happy that I finally decided to get a cordless, brushless model.

Dremel's rule! Other spinning tools drool!
Been Dremmeling for years. Got cheap once. Bought a $20 rotating tool. The chuck wobbled and could not be used for fine work. Meh! This dremel model is great! It does exactly what it should do. But why the four stars instead of five? The case is ridiculous It is not well designed and floppy. A case is very important to a tool. You can’t stack anything on the dremel case so it takes up more space than it would if they designed a really good case. That is a serious issue. Storage in my workshop is at a premium. I’m assuming yours is too. Not to mention that the battery could be damaged if someone stacked something on top of it that was heavy. But in general dremel tool’s quality has been good for years. Being able to adjust the power over a wide range is very nice. Useful for a number of different tasks. It feels solid, but not too heavy and is comfortable in the end. The battery charges fairly quickly. And it does come with a charger for the battery. And you can buy bits from lots of different companies that fit the Dremel tool. Dremel has not always been perfect. But the tools have always done what they should. What I mean by this is, there was one time where they actually made a tool with a chuck that wouldn’t fit the standard dremel bits. And no one made bits for this new tool. Even Dremel stopped making them quickly. Which made the Dremel useless. I tried to buy a chuck for it that would fit the standard bits, but no one had them. But the tool worked great. 😳😃 how do I know this? Because they included three or four bits with the tool. That’s all I had. *sigh* I still have that dremel. It serves as a reminder of what hiring stupid management can do to your reputation. This tool will be passed down to my least favorite child. JK At least someone there in charge of the actual tool continues to make it functional. So there you go you can buy this one with the comfort in knowing it will do what it should. But the flimsy case will not help you organize your space better. I haven’t checked to see if Amazon has any cases that would fit this tool that are solid. But I may just do that.

Everyone needs something like this
Bought this to bore out existing holes to bigger sizes and found while it isn't super effective at that with the included accessories, I have found many uses for it since. I think the included accessories make it a good value for the money. Convenient and cordless, well made, comfortable in hand.

Users outside the US and Japan need to purchase a separate 220V charger; otherwise, the battery will not charge.

部品取り付ける用の軸が添付されていなかったので、付けられないですです。 パワーは、Dremel 4000よりあるみたいです。 予備バッテリーを探しているのですが、どこにも無くて困ってます。

I live in a condo so I have a hand tool based hobby wood workshop that is quiet and compact. Every now and again I do need an electric tool, but never often enough to warrant a whole tool set. This is a great all rounder that gives me the benefit of multiple tools by just changing the bit. Not as good as the full sized tool, but a great compromise for everything I get. It’s also a lot quieter than I expected especially at low RPMs. So it compliments my set up perfectly!

Product material looks poor and the indicator lights are like cheap products. Better to check for other alternatives before deciding to buy this
