I'm pretty handy usually, but the elite 2 controller is a real pain to disassemble. the internal cables are very small and flimsy, plus everything fits so closely that it doesn't give much room to place the buttons under the last pcb. by the time I had them all installed, a cable weld for the vibration module had broken off and had to re-solder it. Not extremerate's fault obviously, but know what you're getting into. If you want to install just the bumpers and triggers, that's a really easy part. Definitely good parts, mine had no scratches, are modeled to be perfectly identical to the originals. looks great with some assorted joysticks and paddles.

Do not buy these if you cannot unscrew your thumbsticks without absurd force. Do NOT force them with a tool as you will shatter your joystick. If it doesn’t unscrew when you apply a decent amount of force you’re going to have to be content with the stock buttons unless you know how to solder on new joysticks. That being said, the only negative I could say about these buttons is they don’t say what they’re for. Unless you’re unfamiliar with the controller it’s not a problem and I prefer them that way anyway but do be aware you cannot tell which button is which, you have to know the controller layout.

I wouldn't call this high quality but they're not low quality either. I had a little problem with the LB and had to apply light pressure to bend it outward a little, otherwise it wouldn't rebound enough. Otherwise, these look great and I'm happy with them. I used the eXtremeRate YouTube video to help me complete this. There's no audio talking you through it, but it was good enough to get it completed.
