Easy to install/ with update
In the past I had used the buttons that required pounding the pieces together with a hammer. It was a pain. This product is as it gets. Good size and great value. Update. Yes they are very easy to install. Unfortunately the pieces you tighten together come apart. I have used Loctite thread locker to correct this. Stay tuned. Update: Save your money I have given it a college try to keep these buttons on including thread lock to no avail. Have gone back to the hammer together because they work.

Great Product
Just make sure you mark the existing hole. Very sturdy. You can even save your favorite shorts when the stitching brakes on the button.
