FastFermentFloor Stand for FastFerment 7.9 Gallon Conical Fermenter

Came on time. Very happy with how sturdy this is. Told my wife I could use it as a car jack-stand. However, the allen wrench it came with was the wrong size and the threads have paint on them so this is hard to screw together. You will need plyers. Over all, it is worth it. Pay attention to the angle of the threaded holes.

Maybe they changed the construction of this item - or maybe the other viewers here were expecting more than I was expecting. I was expecting a flimsy few pieces of wire that was somehow welded together. What I got was a sturdy and well made stand! I used my FastFerment on the wall bracket and wanted to see if this would work in an alternate environment. The item I received does not, in any way reflect the cheap waste of money that I saw described in the reviews for it. I usually can rely on reviews here on Amazon - in fact I do almost 100% of the time. These reviews were simply wrong. I delayed my order unnecessarily. I'm glad I took the chance and ordered this stand. My only regret is that they haven't come out with additional accessories for the FastFerment set up.

The instructions are vague. It is not difficult to assemble but you have to know that the angle of the holes determine whether the long poles are at the correct angle. Trial and error is how I discovered it. Paint seeped into some of the holes making it nearly impossible to screw in the poles. I ended up using a pair of pliers and that resulted in scratching the paint.

I’m a big fan of the entire fast fermenters system. I own two, one which I ordered with a wall mount. That is why I purchased the stand for more location flexibility. My only minor complaint was the Allen wrench, that they included in the package was a 5/32” but requires a 3/16” hex key wrench. The directions DO say to use pliers or a 3/16” hex key, I’m just puzzled why include the wrong wrench in your kit?

Poor product. First the threads were so rusted, I had to use a solvent to remove the rust. Next I put the legs into the base. A person would expect the legs to fan out from the small circle base to the larger circle. Nope they go straight up. YouTube shows you have to force it together. Look for the fast ferment stand video. The pieces themselves do seem sturdy, but what happens when you bend metal at welding points (especially if rusted)? It weakens. So I am going to return the product.Oh the seller I got this from said they can't help me. I called thinking maybe a piece was missing. Because there was no packing list nor instructions and the legs didn't fan out. But the seller, homebrew oh, did point me to the YouTube video.

Easy to assemble and made very sturdy to hold the fermenter!

No installation issues. Nice and durable. The only "knock" I have on this is that I wish the stand would give 4-6 inches more clearance at the bottom to make bottling easier. I quickly figured out a work around that caused no undue harm to stand, FastFermenter, or beer so I am still giving this 5 stars.

Nice piece 'o engineering. Came in a med pizza size box. I have a genuine FastFerment conical and stand and it looks like the real deal. This 'kit' has 2 rings one large one small, 4 straight rods and 4 allen bolts with plastic caps. Bonus! I received 5 allen bolts and caps. Each rod has a threaded male end and threaded female end. The male end secures itself very nicely in the threaded upper smaller ring. Do these first and tighten. The bottom ring is secured by screwing allen bolts in to the end of the rods thru the holes in the larger ring. Screw them all in loosely at first then tighten firmly in a crisscross pattern. Thought it would be flimsy -- don't recall if it said FastFerment on the instruction page or not -- but it's a nice sturdy unit. The V-Vessel conical I bought it for sits in it quite nicely. Recommended!!

Makes the Fast Ferment easier to use

Was not the easiest to assemble, hard to get screw holes to line up. Once assembled it is fine.
