Ok, the instruction booklet was a little sparse, and the video showing how to install felt a bit like an AI generated "almost" instruction....but it was super easy to install (I did not strip any wires nor connect to the backup lights - so I did the very easy install) and it works like a charm. My car is a 22 year old Honda, so no backup camera installed and I recently moved into a city where backing up is a big deal. This little charm is doing the trick for me! I saw some reviews about bad weather issues, I'm in Ohio, January and February and so far no problems!!!

I bought this backup camera to put in a 2005 Toyota Carolla CE, and it is great. As long as you get the camera adjusted to the correct angle and get the setting right, it’s even better than a factory-installed camera. I installed it using the cigarette lighter option for power, and I love that I can turn the camera on when I’m driving to help me see behind the car when changing lanes. I’m very happy with this purchase, and especially happy with the price!

The 150 angle view gives me visibility but I wish it was 170deg for more confidence when reversing, ensuring that no obstacles are out of sight. I finally had time today and was anxious to get this camera finally installed. Took it out, plugged everything in, connected to the cigarette lighter port to test as they suggest. Nothing. The power button turns off/on, but I get no video on the monitor. Thought maybe it was the car, plugged it in to my wife's care, same thing - no video. Of course I'm out of the return time window, so I guess on just screwed on cheap Chinese junk yet again. Oh, and the instruction manual....don't even get me started....can't they find anyone over there that knows how to translate properly and proofread? OMG. Anyway, I would not recommend this product. Hopefully I get get some help from the manufacturer.

I am including opening 2 pages that some may discover that the language base is good ; layout is excellent; and proof of reading reveals a gift offered as reward for reading thoroughly.I am happy with the resolution and not unhappy but surprised by what night vision really is here........ it's like 7 led lights that light the way for the lens. Kinda like having an extra white reverse lamp.You can even see grains of floating dust going by the camera lens.The vehicle is a late 1990's Chevy Silverado with extended cab. I am very pleased with my mounting choices, from using the extending in-dash cup holder then hiding the power plug coiled wire behind the open ashtray (non-smoking ). At the back the camera bracket was pushed into two slots i made in the bumper step plastic, connected with short strips pushing up from the license plate mounts. Now I can look down at tow ball and trailer marrying. The tailgate folded down DOES NOT smash the camera, thus the slots, only 1 inch long each.I hope someone finds this useful. My dog missed out on her walk for this one finger typed chronicle.

Hooked up the kit upon receipt, not satisfied. Very poor quality, Day and night views both in black & white only, no color at all. Tried adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation, and tint controls with no change. I contacted shipper and explained the problem, After a couple of questions, he said he would ship another kit. Second kit arrived by priority mail on date specified. This kit works great with good color in both day and night views.About the camera. This is a backup camera only, no videos, no still shots, just rear view. I got it as an aid to backing and also as an aid to hooking up to my utility trailer. For these purposes, it works fine. I get some difference on brightness, but minimal on other adjustments. I'm still learning, so these may change. As is, the view is very acceptable.I highly recommend these folks for their great customer service, and so far, great products.Update: 12/18/23Camera still going strong, no problems at all. I'm very satisfied and will still recommend.
