It's my very first amplifier. So I can't compare it to others. But if you're looking for a practice bass amp and every other one on the new/used market is too expensive, just get this. It does everything an amplifier should. It's easily portable, but I don't know where one would take it to. All I can say is, it definitely beats playing a bass unplugged.

If you're wondering whether this is worth the money and you're concerned because it's very inexpensive, just get it. You will not regret it. It's a great little amp and a fantastic value for the price. I am gushing here, but it's rare to find something that's such a great value for the money. This isn't the most powerful or hi-fidelity amp, but it's absolutely amazing for the price and everything I needed.

Overall it is agoid amp. I would classify this as a bass amp as it lacks true low end. It is, however, good enough for practice in my office to help me relieve stress during my work day.It has three knobs for tonal control, treble, midrange, and bass. There is a main volume control that regulates the volume of your guitar, and a power switch that provides both tactile and auditory freed back.I do love the 1/8 inch auxiliary input for piping in music from a device such as a phone or computer.Overall, it is a nice amp in a very small package.

The tone is not fantastic , but this has been perfect for late night practice to avoid disturbing my next-door neighbors. I even used it at a living room sized jam session, but note that it will not suffice for bigger spaces.

If your looking for a gig worthy amp forget it, it’s not! This amp is made for practice in a home or small room while not rattling the household, and for that it’s ok. Not loud but can be functional enough in small way purely for bass or 6 string practice.

stay clear of this spend some money for a better practice amp. Cracks and pops right out of the box dirty and not very loud. used it for maybe 10 mins. It now sits in a pile in a corner of unloved items.

Purchased this as a Christmas present for my granddaughter who is just learning bass. It is minimally satisfactory for a student player. They can hear themselves play the notes but that really is about it. The tone is way too tinny even for a practice amp. The volume is very low, hardly enough to fill a small bedroom. On the plus side this has a very small footprint and is easy to transport. I will probably get her a Fender Rumble 15 in the future so she can be encouraged by a better sound when practicing.
