Best gloves for making maple syrup?
I bought these gloves this year because one of my old ones tore after about 5 years, and so far I like these gloves much more than my old ones. My main use is in February and March when I bottle the maple syrup that I make. My setup is that I have a ten gallon pot with a tap at the bottom. The tap has a stick valve. I open the valve with my left hand while I hold the pint bottles under the tap with my right hand. The bottles are too hot to hold without gloves. Here are the things I like about these gloves: (1)The insulation is excellent, I hardly ever feel the heat. (2) They are easy to take on and put off. (3) The advertisement says that they are "Food Grade". (4) Best of all, they grip real well. The jar never slips out of my hand.

Sourdough bakers must have!
These gloves are a must have when baking sourdough bread. Oven temps are at 500 degrees F and they make sure I don’t get burnt, very important!

They get hot with large batches.
I am a professional baker. If I am unloading 6-12 loaves at a time, these gloves do get hot and I have to pause to take them off. Not good. I like the wash ability and the length. I do not like the heat transfer and have to be slow while putting on as they catch a little, especially if my hands are a tad moist from washing and drying hands.

Size up. Work as oven mitts.
These gloves get a lot of comments. We use them for oven mitts. They function well. They’re a little tight for my hands, and if my hands are wet at all, they are very hard to get on. Next time I’d size up.

These are the most amazing oven gloves!
I bought these gloves for heavy kitchen work with hot and greasy items and I'm as happy as can be with them! Here's why I love these gloves. 1) I have sensitive and easily irritable skin but I wore these gloves all day working in hot conditions with no irritation. 2) The texture of the gloves gives you more adhesion to what you're holding than with other gloves. 3) They're waterproof and greaseproof so you can easily wash them just by running water on them while you work. 4) They protect you from the heat really well. If you're carrying something really hot, you will feel heat but the gloves provide amazing protection. 5) The fingers of the gloves are well designed so that they give you a lot of dexterity while also providing tremendous protection. 6) They look professional and the white glossy surface gives a very nice clean look when working in dirty conditions. I couldn't recommend these more and will consider buying this as a gift for people who spend a lot of time in the kitchen!

Fantastic gloves!
These gloves work exceptionally well! I have used them extensively for moving sheet pans in and out of the ovens, but the best functionality i have gotten was using them to move a brisket! This is so much easier than trying to use combinations of forks and spatulas!!I also am frequently amazed at how cool my hands are inside the gloves when, after moving a sheet pan, I grab the finger tips of the glove to remove it! The outside is HOT!! The silicone doesn't retain heat or anything, it is just a surprise because the inner glove doesn't heat at all!Dish soap works beautifully to clean the gloves (outside), but it does make it significantly harder to then take the gloves off! I typically just wash the gloves as if washing my hands, then partially dry them with a towel, again, as if drying my hands. Once the gloves are dry enough to grip, it take them off and let them finish air drying.
