Way faster than using a garden hose on my pump. With the included adapter it allows this hose to just clip on. Super fast and easy. Emptied my whole pool in just 3 hours.

Bought the 100 ft long 1 in diameter hose. Needed an affordable hose to run long distances for small scale agricultural sprinkler system with a larger diameter than garden hoses. Decided to take a risk that I could make this drainage hose work. It's unable to handle the pressure of a water pump if the end is capped with something such as a shutoff valve or sprinklers—more water comes out around the clamps than out of the sprinklers. I had to carefully cut off the built in clamps with a hack saw and install o-rings so that the hose would keep a seal under pressure. It's holding up well after about a month of use. If it keeps holding up. I'll be getting more.Cons: Hose is easily damaged by something like a sharp rock or brick corner (had to repair it once after finding out the hard way)—you'll need a way to protect it in such spots. Rolling it out the first time was a pain, but forgivable for the price. Because of how easy it is to damage and how easily it kinks and twists, it can be a bit of a pain to move. Modifying it to hold pressure was a little painful—in it's defense it's not designed for what I'm doing.Pros: Affordable. Easier on my pump than a garden hose because of the larger diameter. Cam lock connectors are my favorite.If you're thinking about a similar use case, I hope this proves helpful. I also bought 1" cam lock to 1" NTP (water pipe) adaptors and then adopted the NTP water pipe fittings to hose connectors with 1" NTP to GHT (garden hose) adaptors.

The hose looks nice but I won’t know how good it is until I get the missing piece. The threaded female adapter was missing and there is a hole in the plastic bag so it probably is rolling around a warehouse somewhere. I don’t want to ship the whole thing back just for a fitting.I am updating the review because Amazon replaced the hose with one that had the fitting. Now I have tested it and it works great, no leaks and it snaps on firmly.

I purchased this to backwash my inground pool. The output for my pool is a 1 1/2 " PVC pipe. With the purchase of an adapter from 1 1/2" pipe to a threaded nipple (US8041 1/2" H X MIPT Male adapter ABS) and a Type A Cam and Groove (Dixon G150-A-AC Aluminum A380 Global Type A CAM and Groove Hose Fitting, 1 1/2" Plug X 1 1/2" NPT Female) this hose is perfect for backwashing the pool. The connection is fast and very easy. There is almost no dripping at the pool equipment end. The hose rolls up easily. The adapters stay on the 1 1/2" PVC pipe output from the pool equipment until you need it next time. I strongly recommend this combination of items that are all available at Amazon.

I needed to transfer water from one 2500 gallon tank to another so I could reposition the tanks. I have strong pump that is a well pump for my 65ft deep well. So thought Id use that to quickly transfer over the water. I cut it into a 75foot piece and then later even smaller! While it worked, this hose was very difficult to use. It seems fairly thin material, yet also pretty stiff and difficult to get it not to want to go back to its flattened shape it comes shipped like. Even after two uses it does this. And it has to be ABSOLUTELY IN A STRAIGHT LINE...or it kinks. I couldnt even use it into or out of the tanks, I had to use pvc for those parts and then this hose for the 45feet between them in a straight line. So not great stuff.
