Very sturdy bowls. We have never had a problem even after using them in the microwave. They do become flimsy if left with liquid fir over night but it did not leak.

Good idea...I'm all for composting. So, I bought both sizes. Both are too small plus they are very thin and flimsy. I microwaved some water and used 2 bowls because they are so thin. I burned both hands removing the water from the microwave. The bowls collapsed! Now I use 4 if I'm going to heat any liquid. Can't wait for them to be gone. Don't waste your money like I did.

I have been happy with a similar brand but decided to try these as they were a little lower priced. Definitely disappointed. They are rather flexible. The small ones are stuck together, you have to pull them apart. They are tapered and taller rather than wider.Look nice though.

I love these bowls. I purchased them for a family get-together where the menu includes soups, chowders, and chili. They are the perfect size.
