This Original equipment Liftmaster opener was purchased to replace a lost one. This opener was fast and easy to setup in a couple minutes using the simple included instructions. I have used Liftmaster for years and will only buy the original/branded ones like this. Quality built, excellent range with easy to use buttons. This is definitely a DIY programming device.

Works with yellow button Liftmaster GDOs, not with purple, as advertised. Tried all 3 buttons, no joy.

I see lots of great reviews here. Now that I have it working, it’s fine, but I spent a whole day being frustrated. the instructions, ChatGPT, and all the videos directed me to press the program button on the new remote. I tried everything to make it work and it didn’t. finally I just decided not to press the program button on the remote and just press the learn button on the motor And that worked. Why in the world did the instructions ChatGPT and all the videos tell me to press the program button on the remote when that was not what got mine to work? No one else seems to be complaining. My opener is liftmaster 8550 with a yellow learn button. .
