Actually pretty good keyboard fun to use and I love the speeds! Was a strange purchase cause of the different cherry mx switches but you get used to it super quick! Used to have a razer black widow but bought this as a graduation gift to myself. Would recommend! Came on time and in perfect condition.

I like it
My first mechanical keyboard, it's definitely a novelty item but I love it, and the different light effects are very cool.

Pretty slick board, but missing software configuration!
I just received this from another vendor. I'm number 812 of 2000. :)Having the different key types is awesome, you get to compare them right next to one another! And the letters/numbers are Speed Silver which are fantastic to type on. I'm partial to Red so this is a given I guess. This is my 9th mechanical keyboard and it's right at the top of my favorites already. The G.Skill KM780's are still my favorite as it's easy to customize and full RGB. It's big though, really big. My Corsair Strafe has the best lighting affect abilities due to the easy to use community downloads, and it's relatively compact. It's not as "solid" feeling as the G.Skill or this Ducky though. Not flimsy by any means, but you can tell a difference. My Razer boards are ok, have 3 of them with three different key types, and the original Cherry Blue Ultimate is the best. The Green and Orange are not comparable to Cherry, they just feel scratchier.I have two Rosewill's, both are very solid, great and compact, but not lit at all, so just boring at this point. This Ducky is even more compact than the Rosewill's and has 4 additional media keys. I do greatly miss the side macro keys from the Razer/G.Skill boards though.Programming is a PIA on this as there is no software GUI. Pro's of that are it works on any machine, so my Mac at work turns out to be less than a piece of junk ;) and everything is stored local to the board, G.Skill does this too but has 3 profiles! Con's are that you have to memorize weird key combos to do the programming of Macro's or Lighting, or keep the manual handy. One neat thing is you can layer the stored lighting. Default options are On, Fade, Rain, React, React Wave. Then you can program two lighting profiles called CM1 and CM2, setting brightness to each key as you want. By overlaying them, you can get some neat effects. Simple example is have CM1 fade some keys, CM2 turn gaming keys on bright, and the default lighting do Rain. Even though they are not RGB, this looks pretty cool!Build quality is high, like all my other boards, really little difference between them. The keys have a wonderful texture, PBT vs ABS, and it just feels more pleseant to type on than any of my others. This may be due to the Speed Silver's though.Did I pay way too much for this board? Oh yeah, I sure did, but it was a gift to myself, so the fact that I've never paid over a hundred bucks (most of mine were 70 or less) makes me ok with this splurge. This should not be your first mechanical keyboard though. The Corsair or G.Skill line will make a much better impression until you are more familiar with the nuances of this type of keyboard. You can also configure the FN key to be a windows menu key, or "move" it to any of the Ctl/Alt/Win key locations via DIP switches. And change from 6KRO to NKRO if you need that.My one big dislike, as stated above, no software to more easily do macro's and basic lighting. The Shine 6 has software, why can't Ducky just add this device to that software with a more limited lighting feature set?

Designers forgot about touch-typists
Bought it for the novelty/ability to try 7 different grades of switches. I thought the keys could be moved - NOT! The main area is of type Silver which is entirely too light probably for most people, but especially so for the home row (A thru semi-colon) where typists rest their fingers. I get spurious keystrokes all the time because of this. The home-row should have been at least of type Black/Brown though I wanted to put the Clear (DFJK)/Black(ASL;) in their place. Alas...
