No complaints for the price
I'll start with I have essentially no welding skills whatsoever. I mig'd a bit in highschool 20 years ago, that's about it. So I don't think I can blame the quality of the welds on the machine. Maybe the rods. But the machine worked well.It was easy to put together and get started. It's incredibly light weight and was comfortable to throw over my shoulder with the strap it came with. I was fixing a crack and welding two quarter inch plates together. It had more than enough power to weld them. I was using around 200 amps. It never triggered any duty cycle that stopped the welding, though I did trip the breaker in the garage once. The rods didn't go very far. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if its the quality, or just the wrong size rod for the job. Either way, you'll want to order extra right away. The arc started easy enough, but I also took time to prep the material first, so that may have helped. Overall I'm happy with the purchase after the first use. I'll update if my opinion changes on it after using it more.

Actually worked well
Little welder works fine for what I need. Very impressed I was able to DIY weld on my golf cart & lawn mower. I am glad I made this purchase.

Works.
NOTE: Light Hobby UserI was actually surprised that this little thing worked. Received it today and had a small job waiting for it. First try was mostly a failure trying to use old 1/16 E6013 l had sitting around in my very humid garage. It really didn’t want to strike an arc or stay lit so l decided to try the (presumably) fresh 3/32 6013 that came with it. Took a little doing but l finally got it to lite off and then performed flawlessly at 135A. 4-Stars.

Well worth the money IMO
For what it is, a 110v stick welder at $60, it is a jam up deal. It doesn't weld like a 3phase but it's not supposed to either. For the money, it's well worth it. It runs fairly cold..... welding 3/8 plate with 3/32 7018's @ 145amps was right for me. Definitely worth the money for the average home project

Weak, Overheats, and Useless for Real Work
This stick welder is absolute trash. It barely strikes an arc, constantly overheats, and shuts down after just a few minutes of light welding. I wasn’t expecting a professional-grade machine, but this isn’t even usable for basic home repairs. The leads are cheap and stiff, and the build quality feels like a toy. If you’re looking for something reliable, look elsewhere — this thing is more frustration than function.

Gets the job done if you're not a serious welder.
Awesome entry to stick welding for the price. The leads are a bit short but you can always buy longer ones.It looks sketchy but if you respect the tool it will respect you.
