I have super straight lashes that only ever hold with waterproof mascara. I switched to low tox mascara and they don’t come in waterproof versions…so I’ll curl with a standard lash curler and they go straight again almost immediately. This curler however holds the curl all day long!! So I have some small broken lashes on one side that are hard to get so I did use the traditional curler to get those temporarily curled then came in with this curler right after-works like a charm! I 100% recommend this for stubborn straight lashes! Also I tried it after the mascara is on and it worked well then too. Buy this! First pic is right after I did them and last pic is like 10 hours later.

UPDATE: unfortunately, I'm on my 2nd curler due to the 1st one being defective, and now the 2nd one no longer heats. Since working from home, I don't wear makeup too often anymore, so it might get used twice a week. It's not like I use it every day. My first one died after just a few uses, and the replacement died after several uses but not many. If the parts were of higher quality, it would be a 5 star product, but that is not the case. Dropping my review from 4 stars to 1 star. It's not worth the hassle of returning and/or reordering every few months. I recommended this to a friend, too. :(I will start out by saying the outcome, super long, curled lashes, is 5 stars. However, I deducted a star due to the fact my first curler stopped working after a handful of uses. I returned it within a few weeks and am now on my 2nd curler. It heats in seconds to a warm temp, not hot, so it doesn't feel like it would damage your lashes. It curls great! There is a slight learning curve. First, make sure you get all of your lashes into the curler. Secondly, while curling, don't pull the curler upwards and back towards your eyelids. I think that is where the complaints of crimped eyelashes are coming from in other reviews. You kind of just hold the curler straight up and squeeze. Otherwise, you will definitely get a large crimp. All in all, the idea itself is 5 stars! Since I had to return my 1st one, as other reviewers mentioned, I can't attest to its longevity, but I am hoping for better luck with the new one.

Easily my highest recommended beauty item. It’s cheap but works SO WELL. This is the only eyelash curler I’ve used for years. Gives insane lift, and curl. This works for high glam looks or literal no makeup looks. Don’t hesitate. Don’t buy a dumb $60 name brand one. But this. You will not regret it. It lasts forever (unless you’re clumsy like me and drop things a lot which is the only reason I’ve had to repurchase, because I broke it)

I've had this eyelash curler for over a year now...maybe two...but have only used it probably 20 times in total. I only use it whenever I go out for a night on the town and want to look dolled up. Traditional non-heated curlers never worked for my short, stick-straight eyelashes (I'm Asian). I also have hooded eyelids, which makes it much worse to hold an eyelash curl. This eyelash curler WORKS. I'm able to get ALL the way to the base of my lashes and curl them. The heat isn't so intense that it prevents me from getting to the base. HOWEVER, two AA batteries will only last about 2 weeks. You'll know when the batteries are running low when you turn it on and the green light starts flashing. I couldn't believe it when on my THIRD time using it the green light flashed. My recommendation? TAKE OUT THE BATTERIES WHEN NOT USING. It's a complete pain in the ass, but this will extend the life of the batteries. HOWEVER, after taking the batteries out so many times, a little plastic part within the curler broke off, and one of the batteries could no longer stay put. So I had to press down hard on the batteries to hold them in place while curling my lashes. Finally one day I got sick of doing it and threw the curler away. I ordered another brand of heated eyelash curler on Amazon (twice as expensive), but alas, that curler was WAY too hot to get to the base of my lashes. I kept flinching from the heat. So I returned it. Guess which one I'm buying again. SIGH.

So, i love this. I have lashes that are long but don’t stayed curled with a conventional curler (even after applying mascara). This curler keeps my lashes curled for most of the day even without mascara. After curling and mascara, i’m curled for over 24 hrs!One star removed for battery-life, just as other reviews have stated.

Absolutely love this curler! I don’t hold it any longer than 4-5 seconds and get great results. Worth it!

I bought my eyelash curler 1 month ago. It worked great until this past week :( I was so happy with it and then out of nowhere 👎 died. I replaced the battery but it is not working 😕

This is good while it lasted... a month, maybe???That's too bad because I was enjoying it, but now the light blinks and red area doesn't heat up.I don't care about the price! I just would like to purchase something that works! Why is everything so crappy????
