What's the difference between this version and the "Amazon Exclusive" version that's $26?

This version of the game has some fundamental differences to the amazon exclusive. The exclusive version is the original design of the game: you go around the board building the trap as you go. Once finished, player circle around the trap's catch point and once caught, are out of the game. In this version, you build the trap before play begins, the trap has a few sections that are different (mostly a crane that takes the marble to the top instead of hitting the a pole to push a second marble into the tub), and the objective isn't to capture your fellow players, but to collect six pieces of cheese. trapping a fellow player just lets you get a piece of cheese from them and doesn't remove them from play

What is the difference between this game and the $45.51 version?

There isn’t really a difference. I bought the game for my son and he really enjoys it. He’s played one that one of his friends had ( more expensive) and there is no difference. Or at least I couldn’t tell a difference. They both had all the same pieces and it worked the same. I hope this answered your question.
