Kuhn Rikon Easy Induction Non-Stick Frying Pan, 9.5-Inch, Aluminum, Black

I've just looked on here to check what pan I bought quite a few years ago because I want to dump the Circulon high sided pan that sticks like mad in the grooves (that I've been using for stir fries), and buy a high sided one like my Kuhn Rikon frying pan. It's been excellent with no problems for years, being used frequently. I'd definitely recommend them and these would always be my 'go to' now. My trusty old Kuhn Rikon is the Easy Induction one, so buying the high side large Easy Induction one now.

We have been using this omelette pan occasionally since it’s purchase in April 2016. It has never been in the dishwasher.Today over three years later, the black coating around the lip of the pan is coming off like a sludge. The coating on the rim started peeling off at first. When the pan was placed on the hob we noticed a smell and then there was this tar/ melted rubber like substance going down the side. Because the pan has had such gentle use, we have no idea what has caused this.

The best non stick pan we have ever purchased. We have never ever had to use an abrasive of any type to clean it, just a quick run round with a nylon brush and run around with a dishcloth. Works perfectly on an induction hob, and enables you to control temperature perfectly.

Needed a durable pan for regular kitchen use which would clean easily and maintain its non-stick properties. Ticked all boxes!
