good camera, unreliable accompanying apps
setup kinda complicated like a lot of people say, but if you are a bit tech savvy you can do it with the instructions. its not "plug and play" but its doable. once its setup the camera works well.picture quality is good. i dont have any points of comparison to other cameras, but this one does well in dark and light. i am pleased.the issue i have is the apps on the ipad and iphone. they are constantly crashing on 4 separate devices. they are not reliable. all devices are up to date and the apps are up to date. no jailbroken devices, so everything is "stock." if the apps dont work properly and wont stay on more than an hour or so whats the point of this over a traditional, nonwifi based device? ive resorted to using my laptop as the monitor. this winds up giving me a much bigger screen / display so when im half asleep i can see the screen much better, but still the apps are not reliable.

Traveling mom peace of mind!
I originally planned on purchasing the angel care monitor, but after doing more research, the Baby Wifi 3G seemed more fitting for our family's needs. I travel often for my job and being able to see my sleeping pr playing son really makes leaving him a little more palatable. My husband is pretty tech savvy but we couldn't get the "away" function to work properly. A quick phone call to the company, and Jeff was on it in no time. After sharing my screen (with unbinding patience!) he adroitly navigated through the systems we have in place, got us up and running on MULTIPLE devices (3 iPhones, 3 iPads, etc). The "away" function will only work with the add-on purchase of the app, but, for me, it's a well worth while, nominal purchase to be able to use this function. Baby Wifi 3G is the only monitor I found where this is even an option. There are some reviews complaining about having to pay for the app, but it should be noted that they are 2 different companies. It's all of $10. If you're paying the higher price for this adaptable monitor, it's just another $10, though NOT required if you're just using at home.On my first work trip post-maternity leave, and post-Jeff's set-up, I couldn't get the "away" feature to work. Naturally, I wanted to speak with the same person who helped me the first time. Jeff's fantastic follow up email after our first call gave me the opportunity to send him a quick email to ask for help. He called right away (I had just landed!) and figured out that I had transposed one of the numbers in the access codes. Bingo! He had me looking in the nursery while sitting in my rental car parking lot!The picture quality is excellent, even on night vision. I can EVEN view from 30,000 miles in the air with the go-go in flight wifi.We initially had the camera pretty close to the crib so we could see his facial features, but the night vision strobe seemed invasive for our son. So, we mounted it on the wall and can see more of the room. It's easy to zoom in on the ipad to see more detail. Our son is adopted, so when our social worker came for a follow up visit, she was blown away by the picture quality and detail. She even wrote down the brand information so she could recommend to other adoptive families. The customer service alone makes this a 5 star review! Thanks Baby Wifi 3G and Jeff!!!

I'm very happy with these cameras
I'm very happy with these cameras. I was so happy with the first camera that I bought a second. We now have one in the living room and one in our baby's bedroom. The customer service is fantastic. I am not very technologically-minded, and so I had trouble setting up the two cameras (I believe the different bandwidths may have been interfering with each other). I any event, the company is extremely responsive - I got on the phone with them, and they took remote control of my computer and did all the set up for me. It works perfectly. Customer support is in the United States and extremely helpful. We do not use the cameras as baby monitors. We have a separate monitor for use at night with a screen. We did not want to use our iPhones as the night-time baby monitor. So we use the WiFi Baby more to check stuff out when we are at work (like a nanny cam). Very happy with it for that purpose. Some room for improvement on the next version of the camera: Make it so that you can move it around remotely. Currently, where you hang or sit it, that's where the image is - it's static. It would be awesome if they added a tilt feature so that you could move the camera around to see different things. A zoom feature would also be appreciated. In conclusion: The camera is really great and I would recommend it to my friends. The company is great and helpful. Zoom/moving of the camera is the only thing I can think of that is lacking.
