Does this gum have the ada seal of approval? is the first ingredient xylitol? thanks!!

1) Ice Breakers Ice Cubes have the American Dental Association ADA Seal of Acceptance. However, you should know that the ADA charges manufacturers $14,500 to evaluate their products and $3,500/year to publish the seal.  So, it's a mercantile business.
2) Xylitol is the first ingredient. That means that there is more Xylitol than any other ingredient. Feel free to check my review about Xylitol.

Does this have 4 packs of 40? Or 40 total pieces?

This used to be $9.98 (for 4 packs of 40). Now it is suddenly $14.

When closed, how well sealed is the container? Does it do well to keep gum fresher?

It's decently sealed; just make sure the lid snaps closed.  I think it does a decent job at keeping the gum fresh.  Recently, I was out of the office for about a month where I usually keep a canister of this gum, and even after I returned it was still very fresh.

BEWARE of OVERDOSE! My husband and I chewed this gum. Our favorites were grape, bubble gum, cool mint, wintergreen and then they came out with Black Cherry! We would pop in a piece until the flavor waned and then another and .... UNTIL the side effects kicked in. I started feeling disoriented and dizzy and my heart started acting funky. My resting heart rate shot up to 132 and it was a very irregular rhythm. My husband and i listened through the stethoscope. Instead of the normal BOOM boom it was a steady boomboomboomboom... and it stayed that way for several hours. We talked about going to the hospital but I don't have insurance and we were afraid of the bill. I am not sure what made us think about it, but both of us wondered about the ingredients of the gum. It is the only things we had been doing differently and we were OVERindulging in the gum. The 4th ingredient is mannitol. Look at the side effects: https://www.drugs.com/cdi/mannitol-systemic.html

My husband and I are furious. No warnings on the label that you might potentially overdose on bubble gum of all things! Xylitol is what they talk about on the Hershey's website, not the dangers of mannitol! How many kids do exactly what we were doing...chew till the flavor is gone, spit it out and grab some more poison!

Not sure how to get the word out but BEWARE! I feel like if we had gone to the ER, they would have treated me for heart disease because no one would have thought to investigate whether I had overdosed myself on freaking bubble gum!
