Incredible strength… like magic
I recently purchased the Magswitch MagJig 150 (2 pack) and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The magnetic hold is incredibly strong, making it perfect for securing materials in place during a variety of woodworking tasks. The tool is also extremely easy to use, with a simple on/off switch and a compact design that makes it easy to maneuver into tight spaces. The build quality is top-notch and I can tell that this tool is built to last. Overall, I highly recommend the Magswitch MagJig 150 to anyone looking for a reliable and effective magnetic jig for their woodworking projects. It's an investment that will pay off for years to come. I currently use it on my table saw fence for added sturdiness.

Strong magnets, but not THAT strong
Ordered a pair of these 150 MagSwitch magnets. They arrived quickly and are indeed strong magnets, as if by magic at a twist of the switch. Installed them in a feather board I made for the table saw, and they work well for the most part.I cannot pry the featherboard straight up off the cast iron table for love nor money! Strong, as I mentioned above. But apply a lateral force across the surface of the table -- like you experience while ripping a long board -- and they will migrate. Not much, if you're careful, but enough to defeat the purpose of the feather board.Overall, I am satisfied. They are a good product with many practical applications. Just be aware that the magnets are very strong, but they have limitations. Just goes to show you that the laws of physics are beyond our mortal attempts at repeal!

Game changer
There have been times when I've tried using a strong magnet for a stop on my table saw but it just never worked out, too hard to fine adjust and didn't always hold solid. Saw one of these used on a YouTube site and had to get one. I've used my MagJig 150 several times now and find it works great, easy to fine adjust or to remove if needed, just a twist of the knob. Thinking about getting a second one, well worth the money.

Woodworkers take notice!
I purchased these to use in my woodworking hobby after reading about them in a woodworking magazine. It will be necessary to purchase a forstner bit to create an appropriate size hole in the material you will utilize. The Magswitch operates similar to a light switch in that "on" engages the magnet and grips solid to any metal surface. "Off" disengages the magnet allowing removal or re-positioning of the jig. I discovered that a firmer hold is achieved by making sure the base of the magnet comes in direct contact with the metal surface when inserted in the jig. It is constructed with a 3/4" shaft but the stock for the jig may be slightly thicker. I was able to sand the bottom of my jigs to achieve a solid grip. The uses for the Magswitch are only limited by your imagination. I created a 2" block stand-off for the rip fence on my table saw to cross cut boards without the potential of binding between the blade and rip fence, which has the potential of causing dangerous kickback. I also created a feather-board jig that I can drop both into to hold stock up to the rip fence thereby keeping my fingers away from the blade. The Magswitch was recently featured on a woodworking show to provide a solid hold for sharpening chisels on a wet-stone.I would wholeheartedly recommend the Magswitch to any woodworker. I can also see useful application for the welders in the crowd. I most likely will purchase more in the near future.
