Cutting cost by cutting length...
When I saw the 3 stars I thought "How bad could a 3 star cable be?". I measured the cable length at 30", not 36". Which is a shame, because I thought 36" would be perfect when my connections were 32" apart. Also, the R/L are reversed.

Red is not the right channel!
Normally, red connectors are used for right channel connections due to the mnemonic pattern (Red=Right) . However, this unit has the connectors reversed, with WHITE being the right channel. Easy enough to swap, but contrary to the usual convention.
