are they tempered glasses?

They are listed as tempered glass. However they are incredibly strong. We have ran them through the dishwasher daily and our toddler has dropped them on the floor a few times. They have not broken or cracked. I love these glasses so much!!!!! They are strong, beautiful, and comfortable to hold.

Do glass straws come with this set? One of the videos posted show glass straws but they are not mentioned in the description.
