Love the paper!
I am thrilled to have found a GREAT transfer paper that does what it is advertised to do! The colors printed onto the transfer paper were 97% as vibrant as the colors on my laptop. So what I saw, I got!The ironing was just as described in the book. I checked my transfer, found the paper was difficult to lift, I added more ironing time, and voila! The transfer paper lifted off with complete ease once the design was transferred properly.I used a light colored shirt and trimmed the design very closely to the design edge. I looks as if I had had a screen print done. Love it! Now I am searching for more designs to create and transfer.A couple of drawbacks: 8 1/2 x 11 is the only size available; can't seem to find TAP anywhere but online – would love to find TAP at discounted prices.

Imaginative
This is a pretty cool book for inspiration in the mixed media arena. Lots of great ideas, pictures, and instructions.I keep referring back to it. The paper itself is absolutely wonderful. It allows you to create transfers while keeping the hand to the fabric. Doesn't transfer stiff like the older transfer papers. I really like it.

The ultimate how-to on image transfer using TAP
The author developed this product with C & T Publishing and widely teaches the techniques for successfully using it on many surfaces. This is project oriented but the instructions for applying TAP images to different surfaces, such as fabric, glass, stone, are precise and easy to understand

Impossible to find TAP pzper
Not knocking the book. Looks like awesome stuff and I was eager to play with it after reading. But the stuff is impossible to find. Amazon doesn't have it. My local art store checked their supplier and it was out of stock. Did the company go out of business?

Transfer Artist Paper or TAP Product not available.
Disappointed. To achieve the same results in the book, projects require the use of a specific type of material, the Transfer Artist Paper or TAP. This material is NOT available through Amazon. Shown as "out-of-stock" and unknown when available. Checked other sites for this product and if available was extremely expensive. Not sure if this product is no longer produced? In any case, keeping the book as there are creative ideas and will adopt other mediums for transfer.

Really better than the competition and if you use it on ...
Really better than the competition and if you use it on fabric as it is meant for, it makes a beautiful, crisp, colorful, soft transfer. I was surprised at the softness. I've tried it on wood and book covers with less success, but I suspect I just needs practice. Read and follow directions carefully.

Full of inspirational ideas and clear instructions
This book, and the Transfer Artist Paper product are great. There are many project ideas in the book, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I also bought the TAP, and have had some excellent results.
