I really needed an all cotton blanket because my husband sleeps so hot! I’ve tried having one in the past and it’s always shrunk and gotten pulls from my little 10lb dogs. I decided to try again after much complaining from him. This one took a few days to get here but came a day sooner than expected. I washed it in cold water and tumbled dry on LOW. It didn’t appear to shrink and fits my bed well. It’s a nice weight but he definitely isn’t complaining now. It’s been on a week and no pulls from the dogs either. So far I’m pleased with the quality. The price point was fair too. I just need it to hold up to the repeated washing it will endure and it will be perfect.

I haven’t even had this blanket for 12 hours but when you know a good waffle-stitch cotton blanket, you know. My household’s been running on polyester for years, but I was raised with wool and cotton especially the quality linens at my grandparents’ house. Now that I’m older and more of a hot sleeper, I’ve realized just how stifling synthetic blankets can be. Polyester traps heat and barely breathes.So I’ve started reverting back to natural materials: cotton, silk, linen, bamboo, even hemp. We weren’t meant to sleep wrapped in plastic or eat from it, for that matter.Straight out of the package, this cotton blanket felt a bit stiff like it had rubbed up against cardboard. Probably from packaging. I tossed it into a quick wash, dried it on low heat, and just like that, it transformed into something right. It’s solid. Get the queen size, fold it in half, and you’ve got a double thick throw. Or just enjoy the extra space.Now, to the person who left a comment saying it wasn’t “very useful”: stop thinking like a consumer. Start thinking like a problem-solver. Just because it doesn’t check your box of softness or plush doesn’t mean it can’t work as a solid blanket. You just might be too used to being catered to.No, it’s not going to be silky-soft like a polyester fleece or a faux-fur throw but that’s not the point. It’s breathable. It’s natural. It does its job. For the price, the quality, and the fact that it’s 100% cotton? I’m definitely buying another. My girlfriend’s already shopping for one to help us slowly replace the plastic-based materials in our home. One blanket and one Tupperware container at a time.We’re not trying to be purists we just want less synthetic stuff in our lives. I think most people would feel better with that too… even if they don’t realize it yet.

I find this blanket just about perfect for our needs. I wanted a blanket that was not loosely knit, and something that would not stretch out as a result. Some of the waffle weaves do just that, and also snag. I have not found that to be the case with this blanket. It is a very nice blend of materials, and seems to work for both hot and cold sleepers. It is not overly heavy, or restrictive. Another plus is that it was available in an oversized king, 120" x 120". This allows it to hang down on all sides, just a couple of inches off the floor. Which is perfect, as it covers the box springs. I would recommend this blanket, if you are looking for something middle weight.

The blanket is nice, but I’m not sure it’s a lightweight blanket as it was listed. I ordered a silver blanket and I ended up with a blanket that is more like a cream or a light camel color. I will keep the blanket because I’ve already washed it, but in the future, you might want to be sure you get the right color because somebody might be more picky than I am.

This is a nice blanket, washes well, aside from the waffle design it is soft. It’s fairly thin so not something to keep you warm per se but it’ll keep you from a chill. I use it with a comforter, so when I get too warm, I’ll pull that back and can use this and a sheet.I purchased two of these. They wash really well, didn’t shrink. So good value for me. I believe they come in different colors, I just wanted the clean white look!

Perfect light weight blanket in a beautiful deep burgundy/maroon that looks good on my black couch. The weight is perfect, and it’s not a hairy blanket that leaves fuzz all over you. I tried it at a friends house and it made our picnic easy. I went home and bought one the next day. Not very expensive, good quality material, and feels like I’ll have it for a long time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like this for a lightweight summer blanket. So far, it’s held up very well, I haven’t had any shedding from it, and I’m pleased with the quality. As I said, it is a lightweight blanket, so if you tend to be hot when you sleep then it’s perfect for you; I tend to like a lot of blankets on me, however the bedroom in the place I just bought seems to be quite hot, and I’m thankful to have a lightweight blanket (I’m roasting). I haven’t had any issues with it, and would say it’s a good value for the price.

Wonderful weight blanket for summer or with comforter for winter. Good quality, I did not have shrinkage issues when washing.If you are looking for a super soft cozy blanket, look for fleece. This gets softer with washing and is very comfy but not fuzzy like fleece. Breathes well and good buy for the price.
