Why We're Catholic: Our Reasons for Faith, Hope, and Love

I have enjoyed this book so much! I am/was a cradle catholic. I was baptized at 1 year old, but unfortunately my sacraments stopped there :(My parents weren’t practicing Catholics, and now as a 36 year old woman with my own children I am learning everything I can about our Catholic Faith. This book is helping me learn so much for when I start my RCIA/OCIA classes.There is so much I and still is so much never knew about Catholicism.I am so excited to keep diving into my Faith & receive all of my sacraments.I definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn about Our Catholic Faith!

This book is really great for people who are inquisitive about the church and faith. It would be something I recommend to family that is not Catholic that could help them understand why I am.

I'm 3/4 way through with this and am liking it. I am a cradle Catholic, Catholic schools, etc, but I am really learning a lot about WHY we do what we do. I will be passing this on to the Priest at my Church. He may want to pass it on.

The title of the book alone will engage people. I had to give away my first one, because someone who was Hindu was asking me about the difference between Baptists and Catholics (I'm converting). We were at work and didn't have time to discuss. He has rotated on out of his scheduled residency time with us. I just pray he finds time to read it and that Trent's words will lead him to Christ. Got my second copy last week and can't wait to find some time this lent season to dig in. The first couple of chapters have been great for explaining the reason to know God exists. I'm looking forward to the Catholic specifics.

This is a helpful overview of the Catholic faith, whether you’re new to the church or coming back home after leaving. I enjoyed hearing several analogies helping to explain why Catholics believe certain things. It was a fast read and felt easy to digest.

Very clear and concise for all wanting (or those who have forgotten how) to be Catholic. God bless the author.

Great book for anyone considering converting to Catholicism or for Catholics looking to learn more about their faith.
