These double walled glasses are easy to grip and I really love them.I tried other glasses without handles and they proved difficult to use, wash, and handle.The other glasses without handles flared out the center where you would naturally grip the glass and I was always afraid I would drop them. You can forget hand washing those wide center glasses. Add water and they become very difficult to hold on to.These glasses are stylish and easy to grip and drink from. Highly recommended!

If you ever use a phin to make traditional Vietnamese drip coffee, than these cups are exactly what you need in your life. The reasons are very simple:1. They're borosilicate glass, not soda-lime like most glasses. Which means they can handle temperature changes much better than other glass types (borosilicate can go from a freezer to microwave without cracking).2. They're perfectly clear. One of the most enjoyable things about making Vietnamese coffee is being able to watch the drips from your phin into the cup. And also watch the mixing of the coffee with the condensed milk. Clear is always ideal, but it's hard to find decent glass cups that will work with a phin (or handle piping-hot coffee).3. They're the perfect size. The cups are reasonably small, but not so small that you can't make the typical size Vietnamese coffee. The mouth opening is also perfect for the size phin I typically use (a Gladiator brand Vietnamese phin). You don't want to make more than six ounces, unless you plan on bouncing off the walls from the caffeine later.4. You can handle them with ease. No handles, so they have this clean, beautiful minimalist look to them. But the double-wall insulation means you can actually handle the cups with your hands without burning yourself. Something you can't always do with your average tea cup (or even a coffee mug).We've used these cups for a variety of coffee types. As well as tea (with and without milk). Namely Earl Grey, and Indian spiced chai. I have a gorgeous set of 10 ounce insulated glass cups from this same brand, that I use for the iced version of Vietnamese coffee. I really like that the cups are vented in such a way that there's no condensation build-up. In other words, the cups won't "sweat" so you don't need coasters.I was ecstatic when I got these glass cups. And even more happy when I was able to put them to good use. I developed the habit of drinking tea from a glass while teaching in Eastern Europe many years ago, but the tea glasses used there required a podstakannik, a tea-glass holder, to avoid burning the fingers. Now that we have our Teabloom Modern Insulated Turkish Tea Glasses that's no longer an issue, as the insulating double-wall construction keeps the outside of the glass relatively cool to my touch even though the tea inside may be very hot. This is also an advantage with chilled drinks, which stay cold without forming condensation on the outside of the glass, so they can be used without worrying about coasters or napkins.The borosilicate glass used in these glasses is also used in labware, because it's strong, light, and handles temperature variations well. These Teabloom Modern Insulated Turkish Tea Glasses are also designed very elegantly, with a slight flare which makes them easier to hold while at the same time pleasing the eye. Let me start with saying , this is a company that produces great stuff for the consumers to buy without any hesitation . I mean the attention to detail is top notch !!!It came in a box wrapped in branded tissue paper then wrapped in bubble wrap each glass . It is expected , I know , but the detail orientation is there .For the cups , compare to what Turkish tea glass , it’s a bit on the larger side . You can compare it from the picture I took . But since it is a double wall glass , it is acceptable .It is a very high quality glass ( all their products are ) . Easy to hold even when it is hot . Easy to clean . I love drinking tea , naturally coming from Turkey . This is a very very good option to have in my household .But , it doesn’t have to be limited to drink tea out of it . For anything , it is absolutely beautiful .I think the price is right , too .Was a very good decision to order these . Definitely buy it ( in their case , anything they sell ) again and again . I am a beyond happy customer of this company !
