We started with the authentic recipe supplied by Head Brewer Josh Waldman, then we tweaked and tested, added and experimented until we came up with the perfect combination of malty, hoppy, bitter and crisp. The result is a glorious reddish-copper ale that perfectly balances complex malts with bold local hops and sweet, subtle aromas of caramel, honey, citrus and a hint of pine.
