Candy Cane Spoons 1doz

I hope this will help someone looking for a last minute gift idea for Xmas! I received these today and they arrived in 2 boxes with lots of bubble wrap - not one was broken either! Each individual spoon is also wrapped up so that they are sanitary to give. The spoons are very thick and would probably be good for more than one cup of hot chocolate too (or whatever someone uses it for - just eating it perhaps). The first thing I did was check the expiration date on the box that they were packed in - it gave the manufacture date and the expiration date - my box said April 2017 and April 2019. I don’t know why the name on the box was the ‘Oriental Trading Co. but everything looks good and legitimate. I haven’t tried any yet and I’m giving most of the spoons as part of a gift with hot chocolate (I bought Starbucks hot cocoa which I’ve had and it’s good) and a bag of mini marshmallows. This order was slightly delayed and arrived 5 days after it was expected but still in time for Xmas. The seller is the only difference between the ones I received and what shows online now so I hope my 5 star review is still accurate!

These spoons are very cute. I bought two orders to make Christmas goody boxes for my coworkers. Of the two orders (24 spoons) two were broken on arrival. I’m still giving five stars, because they were packaged extremely well, and I believe you can’t expect something like this not to be potentially damaged in shipment. I did break two more myself on accident, but not easily. I dropped several more on the floor (they were still wrapped) and they did not break, just a little chipping.Each spoon is individually wrapped, which is perfect for giving as gifts, or putting in stockings. They look just like the picture, and are a good size. I imagine they’ll last a long time. The flavor is good, just like a candy cane, not that cheap nasty chemical taste some have.All of my coworkers I have these two enjoyed them very much. I also tried one before giving them out, and I liked them very much. I bought them to use with hot cocoa. I actually didn’t like the flavor mixture myself, ironically, but that is not a fault of the product. I highly recommend.

I was impressed by the thickness and durability of the spoons. They came packaged well and all were all intact.

peppermint, spoons, of course added extra punch to our Thanksgiving hot chocolate and was memorable for the kids. However, they were gummy like an old candy cane, although this was more noted by the adults than the kids, and possibly exacerbated by the heat of the beverage (?). They served the purpose, which was to stir the hot chocolate with a smile. They are thick and not necessarily delicate, but one arrived broken, so plan for that if you need a certain number.

The flavor and concept for this product were great, the concept especially in this day and age of COVID. The problem was I am a class mom and specifically needed individually packaged spoons to give one to each child in the class. I purchased 6 packs. Not only were there not 19 spoons in the whole group that didn't arrive cracked, every time I cut along the dotted lines provided to separate the spoons, the sanitary-ensuring foil packaging split open, thus invalidating the sanitary/individually packaged nature of the spoons. The idea of "individually wrapped" was out the window. I wish I didn't have to write this review because, as I said, I love the concept and the product as a stand alone, non-gift. But, I purchaed these specifically based upon the description and assuming the spoons would arrive packaged well enough that they would be in whole pieces upon arrival. I wound up not being able to give them to the children and am now left with an awful lot of spoons and parts to use by myself over the winter.

I bought these thinking they were Peppermint patterned spoons. I had no idea they were actual peppermints. At first I was so upset, thinking it was going to mess up my hot chocolate bar. I put them out anyways, and they were a massive hit. I never would’ve expected people to be so excited about this. Would definitely buy again.peppermint patterned spoons. I would have gave 5 stars but there was a couple of spoons that came cracked & broken the packaging needs better protectionBut the spoon lasted a long time in our hot chocolate and it’s flavor of a candy cane was so good, overall we loved this treat we have yet to try it with apple cider. It was worth the money for our family, might be a new tradition to our hot chocolate! If the spoons wouldn’t be cracked or broken on arrival. Over all I did love them and so did my family

I purchased these peppermint spoons to use with my hot chocolate. They are absolutely delicious!! They are great with the hot chocolate and give it an extra kick. A must for hot chocolate lovers!!!
