Words just cannot explain how healing this type of therapy is!! I started with the lower back wrap for my husband and ended up using it for my own upper/ mid back pain but because of its size I had to keep moving it around so I bought the large pad for myself and my back pain just dissappears. I literally sit on it every night when I settle into my favorite chair. I find it helps with chest colds and coughs...Ive used it for knee pain...pain just disappears when I use it for a few hours. Its truly amazing and I can't believe that I never heard of this type of therapy. Every doctors office should promote their use! The stones are IMPORTANT. I tried another brand that had a style I liked but it lacked the stones and it was no different that your general heating pad that can be purchased at a pharmacy....that one went back to the seller. The large flat pad is great for laying on, wrapping around knees (although if I had a chronic knee problem I would definitely purchase the one designed for the knee). While they are somewhat flexible they aren't super flexible because of the nature of the product and the stones. Hence I purchased the one designed specifically for the neck because I feel it helps beat colds and flu bugs that start in the throat and glands. I wish there was one designed to cover the neck, shoulder and entire upper and mid back and chest! The heat from this is DEEP and soothing. Shoot, I turn it on even when I don't have any pain just because it is so freakishly comforting! When I have a cold I take it to bed with me and either lay on top of it or place it on my chest for a cough. I swear I get better significantly faster and my cough is totally diminished! My honest opinion is that these pads are miraculously healing for everything that ails! I use the large one every single day and sometimes more than once a day...just when ever I sit down it goes on. They are very well designed and made with very high quality materials. These pads are STURDY!

Ive purchased 6 of these for myself and each of my grown children. None of us have experienced any of the issues in reviews wirh complaints. I have had my oldest one for almost 10 years and it still works amazingly. I highly recommend this product. I have a horrible back and a horrible hip before my hip replacement. They have made those issues bearable and more comfortable. I will definitely purchase again if I ever need to replace one. I havent needed to for 10 yrs now.

I've had two of these for physical and therapeutic therapy for just over a year. No problems throughout. Recently i had one of the controllers freak out and start err = erroring. So I contacted the seller and I've been promised a quick solution. So that was comforting. I'm all about a product being able to take a lot of use and keep performing for a proper amount of time- this does that. And if unfortunately you have any issues no problem (3 year warranty/and) the customer service is really awesome. I will update as this is rectified and offer my total experience.But as for a buy for constantly predictable inexpensive heating pad solution- this has it covered! REDUCED price Get one or two- why not?Update: I received a refund for this item, the customer service is really quite extraordinary. Although it didn't right away, I was told that the person who handles such things was on leave for a week or two....I checked sometime after that and found that they had indeed authorized a refund to my card. To the customer support-Thank you for being so understanding, and I still love this product. I believe the error was a fluke. These are used daily and for long periods. I will definitely be ordering from this company again in the future.

I am very impressed with UTK's products. My wife claimed this pad for herself as soon as it arrived. The size is excellent to cover larger areas like all of the back or legs. I bought the neck and shoulder version a while ago which I use daily. It has made the pain from arthritis in my neck virtually non-existent. These are sturdy and well made and nothing like the "normal" heating pad most people are used to. I started losing weight from the first day that I used the neck and shoulder version. I am not sure it is relative, but I have no other explanation for the loss, as I have made no lifestyle changes other than using the UTK pad. I have read elsewhere that far infrared can raise the metabolism rate so that may be the reason.The holistic advantages of far infrared therapy have been evident for me as well. I am familiar with Biomat. The quality of UTK is equal to or better in my opinion, and a remarkable savings from their pricing.
