Hawaiian Silky no lye relaxer, mild, Beige, 20 Ounce

Worked wonders. Very smooth results and I have coarse, thick hair. I'm happy with this product.

Fresh batch , good product

So I forgot to take a before photo of my hair, but I have fine, 2a wavy hair that likes to air dry into long wavy ringlets, with lots and lots of frizz. Sometimes it dries okay looking, but most of the time it looks like I just rolled out of bed and didn't even brush it. I bought this relaxer hoping that it would tame some of the frizz and maybe help it to air dry with a nicer shape, and it did exactly that. I took a few pictures in different lighting, one was at like 90% dry, and the others were after I brushed it. I think it looks nice, and I am pleased with the results. I got some plastic gloves, sectioned my hair into 4 sections, and basically smeared it all over my hair, being careful not to get close to the scalp or put much on the ends, since I didn't want more damage than necessary. But to my surprise, it didn't damage my hair at all! It feels soft and has shine, it was so easy and quick I set the timer for 13 minutes and then rinsed it out in the shower and used the Hawaiian silky shampoo that's supposed to neutralize the pH and then used a deep conditioner for 10 minutes. I like that it didn't make my hair super straight and it still has some wave to it, but it doesn't look crazy anymore! I would recommend this product.

This was my goal, no breakage and this relaxer did not disappoint. I applied olaplex 3 to previously relaxed along with coconut oil. Then I applied the relaxer to new growth only and let sit for 5 minutes. I also applied Aphogee protein treatment a week prior to applying relaxer. I believe this strengthened previously relaxed hair so as to not deal with hair fall! Overall the mild Hawaiian Silky is making my hair look healthier not dried out.

This is a Very Good hair relaxer. I like the medium strength and it makes your hair feel soft, smooth and silky.

Maybe this was a rogue jar, but it did not relax my hair. I got it for touch ups because the first time I used this it worked wonderfully. This time my new growth would not straighten, and I even left it in a little longer. I went back to a boxed relaxer.

I give three stars because it wasn’t sealed. I was kinda nervous about using it at first.
