Good stuff!
I have 3 Tetra tanks ... this is the largest ... comes ready to go ... just add gravel, ornaments, water and fish ... when full this is HEAVY so be careful of the furniture you place it on

Beware... product is faulty, customer service is worse.
0 stars. Set up the aquarium, within a week I had to replace the filter. 2nd week, I woke up to an empty aquarium... 29 gallons of water in my floor. The manufacturer's customer service is a nightmare. I sent pictures of everything, to include the brand new stand I bought at the same time as this aquarium set, and they replied to me saying the stand doesn't look well built. I found that condescending and quite ironic, seeing how the only failures that occurred were the filter and the aquarium itself. The customer service lady then went on to tell me that there's no water damage to, or underneath my floor, because she would be able to tell from the pictures. So they are also experts on water damaged subflooring - and they don't even have to see it in person! What a bonus! It's been over a month now since their last communication to me, where they said they will write up the refund settlement release for my signature and that my refund will come in the mail 2 to 3 weeks later. Still waiting... I bought this in January, it's now mid-April.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Fish tank
I have had this set up since october, so roughly 7 months. Perfect size fish tank and I built a custom stand for it. The only downfall is the cheap filter. Is good for the first startup for maybe a month but highly recommend getting a canister filter system. Other than that this is a very good starter.

Tank
The plastic frame on the bottom of the tank was cracked but it held water perfectly shipping was to blame on that

Good starter set
I have about 40 years of experience with aquariums. This kit comes with what you need to get started. The LED light is particularly bright and the fully opening hood makes it easy to clean the glass. The power filter is a little small for my liking, usually I get the large size Tetra filter for a 10 gallon, this uses the medium filter cartridge. This setup works well for my daughter's bedroom: one fish and snail.

The good, the bad, and the ugly
I decided to move from a 29 gallon to a larger tank, and although I was really looking for just a tank with a cover and maybe illumination this package seemed to fit the bill and come from a recognizable brand. The good: it is a reasonably complete package to set up a large tank, if that is what you're looking for.The bad: the plastic hoods are *very* flimsy. They bends enough in the center that I'm afraid they will break when one of my cats decides to climb on top. It is crying out for some reinforcement. The internal illumination system gives good light, but its placement with clips on the side of the plastic lip of the tank is not very safe: I have already dislodged it a few times while working to set up the tank. But the really annoying part is that it comes with only two large clamps to place the light bars and two small clamps to route cables. Why be so miserable? The clamps are cheap plastic profile pieces, they could have provided many more for no extra cost. It is just impossible to route the cable neatly with what comes with the kit.The ugly: for a tank that carries the "Tetra" brand, the silicone sealant finishing is amateurish at best, uneven, with too much extra silicone. For a $300+ tank, it leaves much to be desired.Bottom line: I'm unimpressed, this is not the quality I was expecting. Next time I will look elsewhere.
