So we have a horrible air conditioning unit in the rental we rent. The landlord will not replace it so we've had to come up with ways to stay cool without breaking the bank. This blanket is incredible!! It is so cool to touch and so comfortable while sleeping. It's not necessarily a decorative top cover, but it is really nice. The satin material is soft and did I say cool? It fits our California King bed good enough. It could be a little bit longer but I just use a quilt to cover the bed anyway during the day when we're not using it. We've been able to keep our air conditioning a little warmer with this blanket. And did I mention how cold it stays? All night long. And we're restaurant managers in a very hot area in the summer so the last thing we want to do is have to come home and take a cold shower before bed at 2:00 in the morning. Now we can just go straight to bed and know that we will be cold all night long. Highly recommend

It was 103° in the shade yesterday, until it cooled down due to a storm coming in causing the humidity to rise exponentially.My wife doesn't seem to mind the heat, and cuddles are not affected by this, so it was a long, sweaty night (I am one of those poor souls with hyper hydrosis and poor heat regulation to begin with, but closeness is king).This morning, I turned the fan on, and OH WOW. A little air flow and immediate and intense cooling. Like holy crap, I am impressed.Now I'm considering getting one of those small ducted fans to just blow on me (again, my wife likes it hot) and I believe the problem of cuddle/heat regulation conundrum may be solved! After 15 years of marriage, I might be able to have a good night's rest during summer!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this to see if it would indeed be a game changer to having those sweaty nights that plague so many of us women after a certain age. How could just the changing of a blanket make a difference right?Not sure who come up with the design but thank you.I am now like a toddler dragging MY blanket from room to room. From bedtime to my naps, this blanket has made my sleep much more comfortable. No longer am I drenched with sweat. This has enough weight to it to keep me from freezing with my fans blowing on me directly but it feels like there's only two pieces of fabric to it. It's not hot. I wish I would have had this years ago.

Was so excited to get this!! Bought today because Prime was having amazing deals & delivery was today!! Cant get better. So got the queen size, dark gray. It was not cold or hot. Soft for the thinness. No instructions AT ALL just a little story of how it became. I figured out on my own. So i took the plastic off, left the cardboard holding it rolled up & put on my AC vent. Left it for about 10mins. Unrolled it & got under it. It is cool. After a little u must move it about so you feel the coolness. Overall pretty good! I would've loved to have been able to read about it & how to make sure it stays cool etc, but not an option. Thats the reason i gave it 4-1/2 stars. Hope it helps!!

Soooo great. Great price. Cools very nicely. As someone who gets hot while sleeping this got me the best nights sleep on my first night. I wish it had more directions for drying it. I just left mine out to hang after washing and it dried pretty quickly. Super lightweight and breathable and not heavy for people who move around while sleeping 9.5/10 in my book!!

I was hoping for the best and still woke up sweaty even with a fan on and windows open for the cool night breeze and still hot.

I bought this blanket for my husband... and now I’m the one using it every night. Oops. 😂Living in Northern California where summer temps hit 115°, I was desperate for something that didn’t feel like sleeping in a toaster oven. This blanket delivered! It’s crazy lightweight, super soft, and honestly how is it this cold?! It somehow stays chilly even after washing (which I definitely didn’t expect). We've had it for almost 2 months now and still love it. No complaints, just constant battles over who gets to wrap themselves like a burrito in it. The one in the photo is a queen size, aka just big enough to share... if you're feeling generous. 😉

I run hot while sleeping often to the point of sweating which is a problem for my partner. In comes this blanket. This blanket is surprisingly well made with both a cooling side and a normal blanket side for nights when cold is not really ideal. First thing I noticed was how soft it was, this thing is lite but not so lite that it becomes uncomfortable. I would have given 5 stars but the only con is that this will get tangled fairly easy if you move at night.All in all totally worth the money
