Awesome Gift!
This was a great gift for my oldest boy and husband because they are very heavy and powerful, which is the best part of this piece but not if you're wanting to get this for anyone under the age of 10. I got 3 different ones and thought that a smaller option would work for the 7 yr old but he has a hard time holding all of them and reloading them, so I have to help. They definitely take time to reload and they go out super quick! I love that it has an On/Off Switch so that the batteries won't wear out too quickly! I'd definitely recommend these because they are awesome! Hope you find this helpful!

Difficult to Load
The media could not be loaded. I like this dart gun better than the Blizzard since it’s slightly easier to load.Pros: It takes batteries which is much more convenient than having to charge a battery every time you want to use it. It has an auto rapid-fire mode as well as a single fire mode and a double fire mode where it shoots two darts at once. It holds lots of darts and fires them quickly.Cons: It takes forever to load. You have to turn the knob in the back to the “loading” setting, twist it so some of the cartridges are visible, load each dart, and then twist the barrel to get to the next cartridge. There is a plastic covering blocking the entrance to the cartridges so it’s hard to fit the darts in. Also you can only spin the barrel in one direction. If you try to spin it past a loaded cartridge, those darts are pulled out and it gets jammed. There’s no way to load the whole gun without doing this however. Also if you forget to flip the switch back from loading mode the gun gets jammed. The gun has a single and double mode, but you can only switch between them when the “start” cartridge is lined up at the top. If it’s in single mode it will shoot one of the darts out from each cartridge (27). You have to then switch it to double mode to get it to fire the rest of the 27 single darts from each cartridge. You need to line up the “start” cartridge to do this though so you have to “fire” the gun until the barrel spins all the way around and you can line it up to switch to double mode. So even though it holds 54 darts, it only really fires 27 of them.Overall this is an interesting-looking dart gun, but it’s not as good as some other easier-to-load options.

Garbage.
Bought 2 of these for my kids for Christmas. Horrible design. Darts get jammed every time it’s used and it never shoots properly. Absolute junk. If I could’ve rated it 0 stars I would have

Cyclone is better than the Twin Turbo, but I don't love either of them
I ordered two D-Dart blasters for comparison: Twin Tornado (green) and Cyclone (white). Although the Cyclone (white) can only load a single row of darts at a time, it comes with a second clip that can be preloaded with darts. It is also easier to load and easier to operate (more simple). The Twin Tornado (green) can load all 54 darts at once and the round barrel cannot be removed for loading; you have to load the darts one at a time working around the attached guard. It gets even more annoying because as you turn the barrel to load more, they start getting pushed forward and get jammed. It's not a good design and very problematic for young children to load without help.Twin Turbo: assuming you get everything properly loaded (it's not easy), you can flip a switch to choose between 1 dart at a time and 2 darts. It always flips back to 2 darts after going around once, which is how it starts using the second row as it goes around again. While it is nice to be able to fire all 54 darts without switching barrels, it takes WAY longer to load successfully (compared to Cyclone), which is not what you want to spend your time doing with a toy like this. Also, the Twin Tornado shows suction cup darts on the package, but mine came with the more modern styled soft-tipped darts. I prefer that kind so this was a pleasant surprise, at least.Cyclone: preload your darts in both barrels, then pop it in and get started. The back unlocks/disconnects easily enough and it's much easier to user than the Twin Turbo. One of the reasons I was attracted to the D-Dart design is that I thought it would be more simple and reliable than other Nerf-style toys with automatic dart barrels. But it really isn't. The grip itself is OK for adult hands, but the whole thing is too heavy and cumbersome for smaller children. Also, there's no good place to put your second hand, whereas a larger style would allow a handle or grip to help support the extra weight. My kids kept trying to hold the rotating barrel with their 2nd hand (for support) but that clearly doesn't work when trying to fire.Overall, these products work fine (if you are able to load them properly and keep them from jamming), but it is a bit harder to hold and aim than other similar styles. I'm giving Twin Tornado 3 stars (because of how hard it is to load properly) and Cyclone 4 stars (easier to load but still a bit cumbersome). You're probably better off getting a Nerf blaster, but if you want something more unique, the Cyclone is worth a look.

Work great
This gun works great. It is easy to set up and use. My kids love it.

Similar to the cyclone
Almost like it’s cousin the cyclone, but has double the ammo. Which is tedious since you have to manual load and it’s a lot of darts. Plus, this version will get stuck on rapid fire. I find just one at a time works best. If this is the brand you want, I would go with the cyclone.

Disappointing
I set it all up put the batteries in. It didn’t work so I didn’t get to use it

Kids loved it
My kids were excited to see this. After toggling with the batteries we got this to work and it was a whole lot of fun.
