who knew it would be a good idea to replace the blade. I waited too long. can't believe how much easier and cleaner it is to use a new blade. the old one was several years old.

My husband has had the ER-GB40 for at least 8 years. It's the only razor that has stood the test of time and was truly waterproof. But it eventually got harsh and was retired to the back of the cabinet. After his other 2 failed, I figured this would still work but needed a new blade, but figured there was no way this blade was still in production. This little replacement blade was well worth the price! There are no directions, so it took about a half hour to fiddle with (getting the clips back in the right place was the hardest part) but afterwards, was as good as new! A half hour of learning something new was worth it to not have to spend another $80+ on a new razor. Highly recommend!

A decent blade out of the box is easy to swap, and factory grease fades fast. Should replace every couple months.

This was an easy replacement for 7 year old Panasonic GB40 trimmer (blue). The old trimmer blade had broken at the metal spring and would not stay in place and would make an awful noise. Easy replacement with pop-out and pop-new-in. Little expensive for what it is, but thats probably due to materials and limited stock.

I was skeptical, but my trimmer feels like new again.

I've had this trimmer for a few years, mostly for light, sporadic use. I had a full grown beard that I wanted to take way down and when I tried the trimmer it felt like it was yanking the hairs out of my face with tweezers. I figured maybe the battery was run down so fully charged it and the problem persisted.I read some online information that led me to believe it could be a bent/ dull blade so rather than throw out the trimmers, I bought this.Approximately 30 seconds to install and boom, cutting like new!
