And another thing...it's not a standard USB cable that is required. It's a standard USB PRINTER cable that is required; i.e. it has to have a USB end to plug into your computer and it has to have the "square" end that plugs into your printer. It's a standard printer cable -- I used the old one from my HP printer and it worked fine.

Wow, can't anyone get it right? The first answer given is the size of the shipping box not the size of the printer! The dimensions of the printer are - 15.7 inches wide X 13.5 inches deep X 6.87 inches high. That's the size that will sit on your desk as opposed to the size of the shipping box!!!
