Good product.

My 350 lbs special needs son has used this for 10 months. It is still working great, no leaks. Helps a lot with breathing at night especially when he is congested. Highly recommended.This is a must have for the obese that don't have a hospital bed.I am thinking about buying a second one as a back up.

The first time I used it, it deflated during the night :( Each night I inflate it, by morning it's flat

It does what it was purchase for, raise my upper body from flat on my back to a reclined position. Used this for 4 months (160+ days in a row). Keeps air fairly well, usually only had to add air once a week or so. Never had an issue of deflating during the night. Air pump is noisy, so have it set before you go to sleep, middle of the night adjustments would probably wake a sleeping partner. Deflating is quiet.

Durable with good pump

Mother stated she was falling out of the bed due to the air going to the other side of the bed. Not good unless she sleeps in the dead center of the bed, or the lift is fully inflated.

One drawback to not being home is that we never have an adjustable bed frame like we do at home. This product is genius.We bought two of the queen size so that we could use it on both the head and foot of the bed. It packs in a carry on suitcase perfectly.A bit hard to install as most mattresses are heavy and hard to move and this is put under the mattress but this is a small thing really.It has the air pump which is a little loud but it only runs for a short time so also not an issue. A push of the small button on the control lets the air out.It truly is a traveling adjustable bed frame

I have owned my Mattress Genie for almost 3 years now, and for the first year is seemed to hold air OK. I never used it at full capacity just about 50% to help with GERD (reflux).But in about a year of nightly use, I started waking up a couple hours after getting to sleep and the mattress genie had deflated. I can say that I have been choked by reflux because of this many many times. I started setting a 1 hour timer to wake me up so I could re-inflate the bladder when I had eaten a bit late (after 6pm).This past week I gave up. I cannot fond the leak, so I went straight to buying a whole new bed, adjustable base, and hybrid memory foam mattress. The past 3 nights have been reflux free. My bed stays where I want it.If you really need relief from reflux skip the problematic Mattress Genie. It's just a tool which will fail.
