C6010 Printer

Updated 11/9/20155 star for print speed while new - 1 star for output - two stars to get your attention before buying.1) high speed printing2) nice colors on proper paper.The problems:1) first, my printer was replaced by memjet direct and the problems are the same.2) Label Printing. C6010 is an edge to edge printer, however both machines printed crooked. Perfect on the top and off by 1/4 inch at bottom. It's not a true edge to edge.3) Labels, you will never hit center on the labels because of crooked printing. See pic and look at top left label position compared to lower left position.4) My machine has slowed to a crawl. Of course it's out of warranty.Best use: Proofing for print shops. It's too expensive to maintain for a poor output printer.I wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone. Epson business printers do a much better job for $150 or so. Of course print speed is sacrificed. If memjet would license it's technology to the big boys, printing would change forever - they created an amazing printhead, but they are not in the paper feeding business.Here's the scoop.The printer is amazing and it's fast. Be sure to use high quality inkjet paper for best brochure results..Okay,, now that you own the best printer on the market; where do you get it serviced? Well, I learned today that memjet does not offer any support or any type of warranty unless you purchase from a dealer who will service you. Which means, you are stuck with a very expensive printer if you should have a problem. Now, I've owned many business class printers including very high end lexmarks and epson commercial printers, along with a 42 inch wide canon and ever one of those companies offers support to their customers regardless of where you bought it from - they know by the serial number when it was purchased.So be careful,, enjoy this amazing printer, which in fact it is. The problem I am facing is that all my edge to edge print jobs are crooked whether it's printing from the manual tray or automatic tray.

This printer is the fastest paper slinger in our office.The quality is as amazing. I recommend this printer to schools, photographers and offices. We now bring all our boring old forms to life for about the same price as black and white.
