I purchased this product because I had read what a great immune booster this was. Well, I can tell you that it most certainly IS. I can tell that it is working because within about 15 to 20 minutes of consuming it I begin to experience what is known as a Herxheimer Reaction (aka: a Herx/Herxing) due to the die-off of the pathogens.The only thing I have a hard time with is both the smell of it & the taste itself. I also don't like the fact that it does not dissolve well in any type of liquid especially the colder it is the worst time I have had even with a mini-whisk. I don't want to dissolve in hot liquid like tea or coffee cuz I don't want to destroy any of its immune-building properties. My daughter suggested that next time I take it to put inside a large empty capsule & swallow it which I just might end up doing next time I need to take it to fight off a bug (cold, flu).However, with that said, I'd much rather put up a pure product with absolutely NO FILLERS, NO ANTI-CAKING AGENTS such as what Bulk Supplements sells than those that are diluted in both strength & useless "inactive ingredients".

Great product will work well for my propolis salves. Authentic ground propolis.

I rarely give poor reviews, but this deserves it. The only good things I can say about this stuff is that the packaging is professional, and it is, as advertised, a finely ground powder. But as soon as I opened the package, it made me want to gag. I have never smelled something quite like this. It is uniquely horrible. And I don't believe that that is just the way propolis smells. I did my research. It should smell, if at all, like honey or flowers.I reached out the the vendor and at first they blamed it on the product being packaged with dry nitrogen and it just needed to air out. No way. After a day of airing, all it did was make the whole area smell ghastly, and spread throughout the house and neighborhood. They then offered to process an RMA via a web form which doesn't work and lastly said I can return it (at my expense!) and they will think about maybe giving a partial return. Give me a break.I don't know what they are trying to pull, or what this stuff actually is, but it is bad. Really bad.

Just add honey to taper the bitterness. Using it for health benefits.

I've just started to try some homeopathic remedies for some cavities the dentist found. I've purchased this in order to make a resin paste to apply to the treated tooth so that it can heal. I just received it so it's too early to tell. I have sprinkled some in my Frau Fowler Mouth Medic tooth powder that has essential oils and I hope that it is helping. Again, it is a little early to tell. My sensitive teeth are less sensitive now, especially after I stopped using orange juice (acidic!) in my water kefir and started using the tooth powder.This is supposed to be great for our immune systems too, so I'm looking forward to some benefits there.

I got this because I didn't want a filler and I was worried about the amount of each use. This is that, and for what I was hoping for it was effective. However, the taste (and smell) are strong! So strong that there is no way to hide the flavor, even when using the most minuscule amounts. It overpowers anything I've put it in, even tuna... it's that bad.I used it to boost my cat's immune system when he had an abscess from fighting. He had it for two months and it was shrinking so slowly I thought it was take almost a year. After a couple weeks with a small dose of this every night it went down to almost nothing and then healed up the rest of the way after I stopped. So, in that sense it was effective. Had to force-feed him half the time though, he wouldn't touch most of his cat foods with this anywhere near it.Not what I expected but it was useful. I still keep it for me but I can't bear the taste most of the time. I put it in tuna or a small amount of smoothie and chug it... or just take a tiny amount straight and chase it with water or wine and get it over with.

I know what good propolis looks and smells like. I attribute propolis solely for my staying cold and flu free for the past 32 years. Have purchased stale and inferior propolis in the past. This is the cheapest yet most effective way to ingest by putting this known fresh quality item in 500mg. capsules. Take one or two capsules a day and when symptoms of a cold appear take one capsule every 4 to 6 hours until symptoms disappear (Typically within 48 hours) Consult your physician before taking and research bee propolis for yourself for the most informed decision.
