Another vibrant springtime color, another successful experience
Short version: Two coats. Boom.—Long version: As a personal principle, because I want to give a chance to other brands that offer a similar version of certain reoccurring items in my life, I try to not be a brand loyalist.With that said, I don’t have blind trust for ANY cosmetic company except for Essie’s nail polish. I saw the color, saw it was Essie, and just ordered it on the spot—a 30-second process, maybe?Because I knew the color in the images would be accurate to what came in the bottle. I knew there’d be no bubbles and that the brush would have a flat edge. I knew the formula wouldn’t be too thin that it would leave streaks, and wouldn’t be too thick that the consistency would be globby. And I know it’ll be a week before it starts to mildly chip, and that’s without a top coat.I even knew it’d be fully dry two hours after the second coat and that I could do the dishes, including the tougher plates with cheese stuck on it. I don’t know, man.No, this photo wasn’t edited. No, I’m not sponsored. I just tried an Essie polish 15 years ago and had the same reliable experience every single time since then.

Wrapped securely so it was not damaged or broken. Beautiful color just like the picture. Also got on sale which was a plus!

Pigmented, but chips off too easily without a base/top coat.
The polish is buildable. It requires at least 2 layers for opaque coverage, which is fine by me. The color looks great on warm autumn/spring or even soft autumn people.My issue: I don't really like to use a base coat or a top coat. I do the dishes so frequently, I know it will come off anyways. However, compared to other polishes under the same conditions, this one had large patches chip off fairly quickly.It'd probably be great with a base/top coat, but for my personal needs, it falls a little short. The color is great on me, though!

Color is BRAT
There’s a reason this nail polish is expensive and it’s the quality. It really stays on a long time compared to many other brands.

Pretty color
Was looking for a nice springy color and saw this one. Color is much better in person than it is in picture. Used only one coat and it’s already looking nice. Very smooth and fast to dry. Love it!
