When and wherever I go shopping at the grocery store I can't find a Cliff bar without chocolate in it, and I LOVE chocolate, but these oatmeal rasin bars are the best! They have a rich cinnamon flavor and provide energy when there's no time for a sit down meal. I wolf one down with some water and I'm good to go!

I like the Oatmeal Raisin Walnut flavor because they aren't loaded with chocolate or frosting like so many other flavors so they don't feel like I'm eating a candy bar. I carry one or two in my pocket when working in the woods clearing trails or processing firewood. Makes for a great snack, giving an energy boost without the sugar buzz then crash that a candy bar causes.Unfortunately, none of the local stores seem to carry this flavor anymore, so I buy them by the box online.

Although I love this flavor of Cliff Bars, these do not taste fresh. They don’t expire for 4 months and the box was sealed but they just taste stale. However they are still good enough to enjoy.

taste good - hold up well in the heat - important for stored food in a Bug Out Bag. Plus, I eat them for a snack because I like them. Most bars have chocolate or peanut butter in them, which can make a hot gooey mess in 95+ degree hot Georgia sun. These are easy to eat these from the wrapper without making a mess.
