ProTEKtCorvette C7 Stingray Front Bumper Protection Skid Plates

Great product to protect the front end from the inevitable curb scrapes due to low ground clearance. High quality components and fairly easy installation. The skid plates are thick enough to provide protection without decreasing ground clearance and are a perfect fit. Installed on a 2017 Z51. Minimal tools are required but a couple of the newly drilled bolts are difficult to reach to install washers/ nuts- small hands would help. The included instruction sheet is vague and not much help but the Youtube installation video is much better. Neither mentions that you have to remove the cover plate behind the bumper to gain access to the newly installed bolts but it is fairly obvious once starting the project. Every C7 should have these mounted!

After damaging my lower bumper on a curb hit on my low riding Corvette C7, had it repaired and this product installed...Excellent quality! Even the long time body shop guy I took it too commented on how well thought out it was and the quality of the material...Easy install. You could do it yourself if you had a lift or a set of race ramps...

Let me begin with two comments - 1) the quality of the item is high, and 2) while I have a fair amount of hands on skill, this install is fairly difficult. I’m giving it four stars for the degree of difficulty and the final fit and finish.Installing this item is not easy if the car is just on the ground. Car stands will help, but that’s not mentioned in the listing. A fair amount of disassembly is required, including drilling holes in your bumper. I would have liked to see the fit and finish be tighter overall. The far ends don’t seat tightly. I’m leaving them on, they serve a purpose and generally look fine, but for the ultra critical Corvette person, I don’t think you’ll be happy. My car is black so it’s perhaps less noticeable, but wouldn’t be on others.

Instalation was done with the front facia removed and wasn't difficult, took maybe 20 min with assistance. Feels sturdy and of good quality. Not pretty to look at with the small gaps on each side of the center piece but they are not easily seen so not an issue for me.

Excellent customer service, I order the ZO6 skid plate by mistake and had to return it. Mitch Terry assisted in the return and I had a replacement in hand within 2 days even before they had received the return item. Product fit was right on the mark. a simple DIY install. Did not need to jack/raise the car for install. Great product since I have one of those driveways that rub the front air deflectors. Thanks Mitch!!

Well made product. It fits perfectly. The installation could have been easier if different hardware was included.

Good heavy quality product that protects paint under bumper well. Recommended.
