My wife has pain patches which need to stay on a week at a time. Sometimes the patches won't stick, which is a serious problem as sudden withdrawal can give bad side effects.I've tried everything I could find to help keep the patches on, when she has a unsticky one, but found nothing that worked. Then I saw this and thought, probably won't work but worth a try. I have been amazed, it sticks to her and the patch even in the shower, I cannot praise it enough, it's been a life saver. Will buy again.

Not sure why there are negative comments other than a bad batch or the skin it was applied too wasn’t clean/dry. Used this several times and had no issues whatsoever. Easy to apply, sticks well and helps the healing process. Easy to remove when in the shower.

Love this stuff, I’m a recent convert to using second skin on my tattoos as it makes the whole process much easier. No making mess on bed sheets, no getting clothing fibres stuck in it, healing is a doddle.I’ve used second skin given to me by my tattoo artist before, so I already know what to expect. For newbies to second skin, here’s a few tips about it and this product:If you have sensitive skin, I wouldn’t use it. I don’t really understand why there are so many negative reviews about this, even my tattoo artist wouldn’t use second skin on anyone with sensitive skin or skin issues.Remove the second skin in the shower. This will help it come off. This product isn’t to be used for protecting your tattoo in the shower (showering with a fresh tattoo is absolutely fine - you can get a fresh tattoo wet, just not soaked like in a bathtub or a pool). Try and peel in the direction of your hair growth.Cut the second skin to size, leaving a slight border to your own tattoo. Peel the white part away and stick to your skin (take care to not touch the sticky part as best as possible) once it’s on your skin, carefully peel the top layer off - this is the layer that says “do not reuse”

Does the job I wanted it for, which was to cut a patch off to cover a nipple piercing so it didn't hook on a mesh top. And it worked like a charm. After having it on from 10am to 10pm (on 2 different days), there was a very little redness on my skin at the edges. However, this was gone in about an hour after a shower. To remove it is like pulling off a plaster, so I advise you shower and while in there remove it, as it then comes off with ease. This is well worth the money for the amount you get and I would purchase this again if I ever run out (must buy more mesh tops I guess).

These don't work at all. They're sticky for about 5 seconds but the second you move, they unstick themselves. If you're using them in the shower/in the water (which is literally their entire purpose), they unstick immediately when water touches them. The only way these would work would be to stick them down with tape but again that defeats the whole point of them supposedly being waterproof adhesives. Waste of money unfortunately.

I have used this for all of my tattoos, but as I have sensitive skin, it likes to irritate it when it is taken off, as well as the skin just outside the sides. If you have sensitive skin, I don't recommend but overall it did keep a nice stick and did protect the tattoo

Honestly I'm sure most tattooists use this. It was really hot and mine original skin started to fall off the evening of my tattoo so I got this to arrive the next day. Been on a few hours after a rinse of the tat with anti bac soap and it feels comfortable, clean, and is staying on!

I used to pay a lot more for the high end second skin product in in the tattoo studio I worked at. Bought this to try out on my own tattoos. This works just as well and sticks to the skin efficiently as long as all the steps are followed. Brilliant stuff, ordered twice now.
