Perfect! We grill with it most nights.
The media could not be loaded. One of those things that just works. Love it.Exactly what we needed to be able to grill 2 burgers at the same time. I never believed the "4-serving" claim; based on grill surface area and burger diameter, I estimated it would fit 2 regular sized burgers; my estimate proved correct to my great satisfaction. (See picture with 2 burgers on the grill.)Also, there is a plastic "stand" in the back, which permits 2 position settings. The grill lies "flat" at the default setting (the plastic stand is folded in). The grill is nicely sloped (higher in the back, lower in the front), if the rear "stand" is pulled out. Some reviewers who say it does not slope are probably not aware of the stand in the back that can be pulled out to make the grill slant forward. When to use which setting? When grilling a burger, pull out the rear stand so the grill slopes forward and the juices run off (instead of collecting and thus "boiling" rather than grilling the burger patty). When grilling a panini, fold the stand in or down so that the grill lies flat for the sandwich. (See picture of the grill back with the plastic stand.)The "juice" collector on the front can now be connected to the grill. There are slots on the lower front of the grill for this. So, when the grill is moved, the collector moves too. This ensures that all runoff is collected and does not spill on the kitchen surface. The plates are not removable, which is what I want. Removable plates are unsafe because they fall off when the grill is hot, causing problems (like burns, or how to put it back on while hot). Non-removable plates heat reliably and are solid — will never fall out.Cleaning is easy. Once cooled down, I just put it on an empty sink and let warm water gently run across the plates while wiping it with wet soapy paper towels, and then rinse. I NEVER SOAK it, and never wet the cord particularly the part that plugs into the power socket.Perfectly grilled burgers from freezer to plate in about 5 or 6 minutes — beats the microwave, stove top grill, frying pan, oven, or air fryer. (See video of the grill, well, grilling.) So glad to have this thingamajig in our kitchen.

Great alternative to grilling outside, easy to use & clean
So far I've grilled chicken breasts, salmon, and swordfish on this grill, cooking for two people, not 4. Each cut of chicken or fish was about 3/4 lb and took up the whole grill area, so I think the serving size is exaggerated. But the grill is very easy to use and it's easier than using or cleaning our old gas grill.I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 because (1) I wish there was an On/Off switch, instead of having to unplug the grill to turn it off. (2) I also wish there was a temperature gauge, but the only indoor grill with one was too large for the practically non-existent storage space in our kitchen.(3) It's hard to figure out exactly how long to keep cooking the meat/fish, since the estimated cook times in the booklet haven't worked so far; there's still uncooked meat in the center when I take it out. I'm going to try to cook smaller pieces in the future; for now, I've cooked 3/4 of the maximum estimated time, then removed the fish/chicken and cut it in half, then grilled it another minute or two. Not being able to see what's being grilled makes it harder to estimate doneness.BUT cleaning the grill has been very easy. The salmon stuck the most, but even then it came off easily. I haven't used any spray on the grill. I bought an OXO Good Grips Electric Grill and Panini Press Brush that's worked really well, without requiring any elbow grease. When I wash it, I place the grill right over the edge of the sink (one side at a time) and scrub with the OXO brush and rinse it, then reverse the grill to clean the other side. I go over the hinges and outside with a wet sponge. It takes so much less time than cleaning the outdoor grill takes, and it's even easier than cleaning out a non-Teflon pan.

Small, Simple & Basic
I have a much larger & heavier indoor contact grill by another mfr. that I consider state-of-the-art. It has removable plates, a sear feature as well as a range of temperatures. A great product, but large & bulky. To grill a single item, such as a swordfish steak, this grill is more practical. While it lacks the temperature adjustment, it does the job. While I miss the removable plates, I chose this unit because it will do the job & take up little storage room when not in use. The choice of slanted or flat positioning is a plus. For a very reasonable price, this gets the job done & it does it well.

It cooks fast, does not hold much, fine for a single person

Grease tray too short
Had my old one for about 16 years or maybe longer. I loved the old one but had to purchase new one because bun warmer on top broke, otherwise would still be using. This new one Ok but not like old one. I am having to order a longer drip tray as this one is too short thus making a mess. I did measure it from side to side and it is only 8”. So now will have more money in it than wanted. If order go up in price or order larger tray when you order. Could have been packaged incorrectly. Also seems to smoke more than old one.Update, used now 3 times and back to using my broke one . If I could I would return, as I really do not like this one at all. I would love to be able to return and just get the little one more like the old one. This one a lot more difficult to clean and have to move it every time I use it because it smokes so bad. I thought I wanted an upgraded model but sometimes the higher in cost is not always the best. This is just my opinion but for now thank goodness I kept my old broke one as it is still going. Minimum smoke, easy to clean & drip tray fits and does make a mess. George Forman grills are good but this one not for me, sorry.

This really works
My mom wanted a George Foreman grill so I bought her one. It works pretty darn well! She's cooked steaks and chicken with great results. It's not outside grilling, but I'm impressed.
