Not bad for the price

For this price point, this tent did the job. My oldest son took it backpacking. It rained several times, and the rain stayed out. He did have issues with condensation, but not sure if that was user error or not. Both of my older kiddos used it again the next week backpacking, and it was a little small for both of them and their things, but got the job done. It was the lightest tent I found at this price point, so I am happy with how it has held up.

Good design, size, and weight. I am 6 ft 4 in (193 cm), and the length is just enough for me to sleep fully extended. The width is just enough to put a 70-L internal frame pack next to me on the floor. You could fit another person in that space, instead. The height is enough for me to sit up straight but not quite fully upright on my knees. As other reviewers have suggested, however, buy a replacment set of tent poles. These are unusable. The plastic sleeve on the fiberglass is soft, thick, and will not easily slide in the female end of the adjacent pole. A decent pair of male end of aluminum poles, each set at least 145 in or 3.7 m in total length, is ~$35 on Amazon and weigh less than these. The tent pegs are smaller in diameter than "standard" pegs for this size tent. They are 1/8 in (3.3 mm) in diameter but still 6.5 in (16.5 cm) long. That at least reduces the weight a bit. Even with new poles, it is a good value.

We got this for my daughter as her tenth birthday present. She's always loved the outdoors and just recently taken an interest in camping by herself (in the backyard.) I wanted to get her something without spending a fortune in case this is just a passing interest. This was well worth the money spent! Sturdy, dry, easy to put up and take down, and it packs up so small she can carry it around herself! It could easily fit a twin size mattress in the floor, so it is more than spacious for one adult or two kids to camp!

Great quality

I like this tent's ease of set up and small size for carrying.. however, the first time I tried to set up, one of the cheap plastic tent poles broke immediately... I went online and bought universal aluminum poles for this for an additional $12. This company should have included decent metal poles. Be prepared to replace your poles after much use.

Great product at great price. Love it .

My son ordered 3 tents prior to a backpacking trip. This was his second favorite of the group. It is much taller inside than expected, and is wider than the others as well - definitely a 1.5 person. Note that it does not have a separate rainfly, but the tent ceiling is the fly. This means it doesn't have a mesh top for hot nights that need more airflow. The poles on this tent aren't the best - the elastic is way too loose, which makes attachment tough. Overall, good tent.
